Thank goodness for front end loaders. Not good for clearing long stretches, but powerful enough to muscle through plow clogging drifts and deep snow. You did good work with the loader, thank you for fast forwarding. Stay safe!
This is how they did our road with the snow storms we had in 2015. Local contractor with a big Cat loader opened it and a crew from New Brunswick with a blower widened a day or two later.
Guessing this was during the time your truck was still stuck in the ditch. Hard to believe the difference between you guys in Nova Scotia and here in Fredericton (NB in general actually), we did not have to plow around hydrants a single time this year!
Looks like the aftermath of the storm of 1978 here Michigan took weeks to get everything opened up. My dad woked 20 hr days opening roads. The had cots at county barn for them to get some sleep. Didn't see him for 2 weeks.

It looks like a good time I liked plowing snow

Hope you have ride control in your loader. Makes the ride a lot smoother. The salt plays havoc on the electronics.
👍👍👍
Finally some canadian winter
A LaRue snow blower would've been great moving the snow I think.
Nice! They got a V plow attachment for ya?
Why the bucket and not the V plow?
How many inches was that storm?
