Almost a decade and i still think about the Go Shiina songs in this game. God damn.

I only wish they had allowed Go Shiina to work on more games/tracks before they split from Tales 😞

@dialop I can't speak for older Persona's, but Persona 5 had sold like 2,7 million worldwide by this year, so hardly underrated.
@@zura8879 Zestiria sold more than a million worldwide and is the best-seeliing Tales title. It would have sold more if the fandom was more open-minded than bashing Zesty like crazy and turning off the ones who would have given Tales a chance. They're forgetting that most new fans like me camehere becoz of Zestiria, not Vesperia.
I love the music in the this game. You know, I really don't care what some people say. Tales of Zestiria is the most underrated game in the series! In my opinion it's one of the best games, no idea where all the hate comes from. It's such a good game that feels like a big adventure. This song is a tiny bit cheesy but still awesome!
But the camera angle still sucks. But I really do love this music.

story too rushed and made no sense at some points such as edna's trial
alisha....oh alisha......a character well developed but dropped after the first third part of the game. i heard that she was used heavily as a marketing tool in japan but they got jackshit when it finally released.
Then we get the battle system only 2 humans and 2 seraphs MAXIMUM in one battle and if you got only one human, then you're just stuck with sorey and one seraph, even if you've got 3 other seraphs in your party.
Equipment personally for me never got around to understand it. I just saw the numbers on the screen and decided what i would increase and sacrifice but never understood how to 'master' them as they say.
Some consumables dont really add to the game, only aesthetics honestly such as making snacks.
Yeah it's underrated but it has some inconsistence. Playing on simple and the final boss is still hard. Replace Alisha with Rose and a few plot leaks. The gameplay, the skill system, the graphics and the characters are amazing though but I still prefer Berseria.
It's one of the best games. The fact that it already outsold Berseria with more than I million copies says a lot and Steam rates the game with 9/10 overall (5000 + viewers)
Rose never replaced Alisha, it's Alisha who had no backstory to begin with. Rose is incredible and Alisha cannot take her place without drilling an even bigger hole in the plot. Plot is fine as it is.
Go SHIINA did an amazing job with the songs he contributed to. Also this game is underrated.
It's not just underrated... it is unjustly hated and flamed for all the wrong reasons in the world. I can't describe my anguish over other Tales fans blowing up everything they didn't like about the game by saying tons of nonsense that have nothing to do with the game at all. They took advantage of a simple advertisement mistake to spread false "rumors" about Hideo Baba and how Alisha was "mistreated" by Sorey and all the other characters. But if you play the game and listened to ALL the skits, you won't see ANYTHING like that at all. It's all baseless hyper-hate.
As someone who had never played a Tales game before and had only watched the anime for Zesteria, I took a gamble when buying the game at a con a few years ago since they warned it might not work on thw EU Playstation but i biught it anyway and started playing it, ofc I found the fusing stuff and such to be quite confusing but as the hours went past i began to have more and more fun with the game.
I adore the characters, especially Mikleo and Sorey, their relationship was something i hadn't seen in media before. Sorey'a strength being his kindess and geuinlt good nature made me love him so much.
While the camera angle was a bit annoyikg i managaed to work throught it on 2 separate playthroughs not knowing i could change it lol
I even managed to beat the final boss without too much issues since i eas ready that it would be hard and grinded and used the best wepons even if i didnt understand advantages and such lol
Def a amazing and underrated game that deservess more love in my opinion

Man, I was not expecting to find the Dragon Sorcerer here after the war died down.
The seraph that was forced to turn into Tiamat was one of the two lovers who just wanted to live quietly in Aifread's Hunting Ground.
Before the battle, you can find his wife nearby, panicking because Heldalf took him.
After the battle and Tiamat is killed, she gets consumed by despair and resentment, turning into the Dragon Sorcerer.

I've played Berseria, Zestiria and now Vesperia. Altought I don't like Zestiria very much Rising Up is the most powerful song of these three games.
Zestiria is not the best game of série,but still very good game. I played same games too in my Ps4.
