It sounds a bit different than the one on the album.I take this was more of a demo?
Possibly a demo version, but not neccessarily. The production quality on this particular version of the song is reminding of the Ruines Humaines EP. It's possible that it was recorded during the same session. Just a guess though.
That could be the reason, as it does sound a bit like the Ruines humaines EP o_o. I mean, I checked the information on the split, and Fursy wasn't really involved on the album other than the split art.

Fursy wasn't really involved musically in Amesoeurs until their self titled full length album. Before that he only did some artwork and layout etc.
Basically. That could be the reason why this version in comparison to the album version sounds different,but this could me just saying a theory.
