Hi, in between 2 locations are vesicles mostly moved with motor protein alongside tubules or are just produced close to their destination and in number sufficiant enough to rely on diffusion? (exemple ER to Golgi, Golgi to extracellular)

1:50 The picture is wrong. The convex surface is cis and is directed towards the nucleus, and the concave surface is trans and is directed towards the cell membrane.
Please correct your plasma membrane, which is one phospholipid bilayer, not two (in your drawing, ER and Golgi just have one line for their phospholipid bilayers). Also, the current thought is that the Golgi cisternae mature. In other words, the Golgi resident enzymes move backwards on vesicles instead of the proteins moving forward on vesicles. Thus, the proteins stay put in the cisternae as the cisternae mature. Vesicles from the ER form a new cis Golgi cisterna as the trans Golgi cisterna breaks up into transport vesicles.
Man I had just one doubt Why's the cis face called convex and the trans face concave, the cis feels like concave-shaped and the trans convex-shaped... Man pls help if you can!
