Thanks Dom! I found this really inspiring. I'm a big analogue synth fan, but there are levels of detail that you can achieve with FM synthesis that you can't with subractive. A good use of a lazy Sunday is to spend it with my MODX creating my own library of sounds. These tutorials really help to bring some clarity to the FM sound creation process. Many thanks :)

Hello Dom...i have a question. I have the montage 6 and wanting to know how do I utilize the sliders on the left side to control as volume for each track. When I am in the process of recording a song track by track, I'm not sure why the sliders are not controlling the volume for that particular track. How do I fix this dilemma ? Thank you.

Hey Kyri, yes, to my ears there is a noticeable difference! Especially in the preamps department! The Silks are sooooo good - I use the blue for recording bass almost always and the red for vocals and guitars. But to be fair, the UFX that I have is very old - I haven’t heard the new ones but the word is that it’s not a massive difference in sound compared to the original one.
