Thank you for posting Dr Rogers’ sermons. He was my pastor during the ‘80s while I was in Memphis, at the church in midtown. How timely this sermon -it was then and even so now. Dr Rogers, one of the great preachers of our time.
Yes…and First Baptist Merritt Is., FL lost their best Pastor to Memphis. We attended there after Adrian left…he would come back annually.

Noah was taken suddenly, just as the raptured Church will be taken suddenly ( 1 Thes. 4: 16--17 ). Noah landed in a cleansed earth, the Church will land in Heaven in a twinkling of an eye ( 1 Cor. 15: 52 ).

Jesus or Iesus? Iesus (ee-sus) was the name used for Christ prior to 1632 c.e., and after it became Jesus. That would mean that the name Jesus is only 391 years old. This means that the name Jesus is a counterfeit name. How did this happen? Well, Jesus (French/English) comes from Iesus (Latin), and Iesus comes from Iesous (Greek), and Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua. Are these names based on languages legitimate in the eyes of God? The apostle Peter testified: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The apostle Paul, who encountered the Lord on the road to Damascus, and Paul asked, "Who are you, Lord?" And the Lord responded in Hebrew, "I am YAHSHUA..." (Acts 26:14-15). How do we know that Paul heard the name YAHSHUA? Because the apostle Paul wrote this: "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11).
What do we understand from the above?
1) There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!
2) The Savior's name is Hebrew, not English, Latin, Greek, Aramaic, etc.
3) The Savior's name has "the name which is above every name."
4) The Savior's name, His only name, is to be spoken, as the same name, in every tongue, or language, of all people.
5) What is the name which is above every name?
The prophet Isaiah makes it very clear: "Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). YAH is the essential name of salvation!
Where did we get the name YAH? 13 Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, "HAYAH Ashar HAYAH" [“I AM WHO I AM”]. And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM {YAH} has sent me to you.’” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations'" (Exodus 3:13-15). Every Generation is to know this one essential name "YAH."
The Savior told the people that He was YAH (I AM), for He said, YAHSHUA said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM {YAH}" (John 8:58). When the Jews heard the name which is above every name {YAH}, they picked up stones to stone Him, for telling them that He was YAH!
Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA!
Now you say what does it matter? And you say, "I will still call Him Jesus!"
But be warned: If you refuse to acknowledge the name from heaven, which is the only name by which we must be saved heed this warning: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:16-18). To reject the name YAH (I AM) Shua (for salvation) is to stand condemned!
Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, Hey-zeus, Gesu, Isa, etc. are all names not from God, but are of the tongue of man, and therefore, are counterfeit names!
This is the day of the Lord we will rejoice in it
I met rogers when he was the pastor of 1st Baptist in Merritt Island. He was wearing a n I ce white suit and so, so friendly. I was a member of an independent Baptist church.
I was a new Christian at the time.
I have followed after him until this time I am texting. Just listen to his sermon in the past. Such a great style of preacher.
I soon attended a Bible Collge in call to preach. Kater on webt to Hyles Anderson n had to drop out due to an auto wrech. Later went to Baptist Bible Collge n graduated. Pastored a couple churches in my time. At 76 yrs. He was so much better as a preacher. His nessages are so good and his style is one to envy.
Now he is in Heaven but his messages are still here and a blessing.

I was saved at Bellevue Baptist church in 1993; I’d never heard of Dr Rogers before.
the woman that invited me told me she went to a mega-televised church, and I thought to myself “oh man, some televangelist”
Nothing could’ve been further from the truth. That church was so full of God and the spirit, you couldn’t help but feel it.
I give God all of the glory, but Adrian Rogers was a true spiritual leader and orator. Quite an influence.

Everyday we are closer to the rapture. If only more people wanted to hear truth. My heart breaks for the youth of America. Parents have quit attending church and therefore their children aren’t in church. Schools fit into the days of Noah. America can no longer be called a Christian nation. We need to share God’s word every time we have an opportunity. Christians pray and don’t stay silent.

God shut the Ark's door and it remained quiet and still. Life went on as normal, outside BUT 7 days later clouds gathered, wind picked up and liquid hell broke loose over all the earth. Today we're facing the beginning of sorrows. Jesus' door of grace is almost shut. It's coming again. Love from Africa.
He gave a us the Rainbow as a promise to never flood the earth again. Fire and brimstone, fervent heat, all things will melt away.
We'll be walking on the clouds by then.

But, those who have died are in the sleep of death waiting for the judgement day.

I have been looking for in-depth teaching about the characteristics of the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot. The signs of the times are what I have been studying for months and we can see them everywhere! Adrian Rogers has always been one of my favorite Baptist preachers.
I found another great sermon last night on CZcams by a minister I had never heard of before. He went into in-depth teaching on the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and brought out points I had never heard before. I think Brother Adrian would approve of his video called "Sermon: The Angels in Sodom" and it was on the CZcams channel "Apologia Studios."
The deception is so great today. But it is those that DO NOT have a love for the truth that will be deceived. One could conclude that if you DO have a love for the truth, then you WON'T be deceived. II Thessalonians 2: 10
