    Today, let’s see how to make restaurant style masala papad. Masala papad is a very popular and all-time favourite appetizer. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. We never miss to order it whenever we visit any hotel. Today, we are neither deep frying the papad nor roasting it on the gas. We will use just 1-2 tsp oil to fry the papad. I will show you to roast the papad in microwave too!! You can keep the masala ready and fry the papad and assemble it when you need. This is a very easy, simple and quick recipe. Papad is generally served as side dish with main course like khichadi, dal rice to add that crunch element. In masala papad, spices and some veggies are topped on fried papad to make it more scrumptious. Try this recipe at home and write to me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
    Ingredients:
    • 1 tsp Red chili powder
    • 1 tsp Cumin powder
    • 1/2 tsp Chat masala
    • Black Salt to taste
    • Oil as needed
    • Moong dal papad
    • Finely chopped Onion
    • Finely chopped Cucumber
    • Deseeded and finely chopped Tomato
    • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
    • Shev
    Method:
    • For making masala mix for masala papad, mix red chili powder, cumin powder, chat masala and
    black salt well together.
    • Heat up a skillet on medium heat and brush oil on it.
    • Place moong dal papad on the skillet and roast it well.
    • When lower side is roasted well, brush a little oil on upper side and flip the papad over.
    • Roast the papad well from other side and take it off on a wire rack.
    • If you want to roast the papad in microwave, then brush a little oil to both the sides of the papad
    and microwave it for about 30-40 seconds.
    • When the pad cools down, sprinkle the masala mix on it and spread onion, cucumber, tomato.
    • You can use veggies of your choice.
    • Sprinkle masala mix again and spread coriander leaves and shev. Masala papad is ready.
