7:27 that's a backflip cancel. You said in other responses to comments that he continues moving down afterwards, which is true, but only for a moment; the same happens with normal flips, there's a slight delay before the vertical momentum is cancelled after a flip, and in slow mo that delay is extenuated. You can tell it's a flip by the flip sound, the vertical momentum being stopped so suddenly after a few moments (he landed above the goal, when otherwise he wouldn't have), and the way his car twists so suddenly into an immediate barrel roll. TLDR this doesn't actually matter but it's definitely a flip.

I think Zen did use his reset to backflip, air rolling through it and maybe even cancelling it a little bit to land on the wall, which is arguably more impressive imo

P sure zen's backboard reset jump was a backflip not empty jump evident by the wheel trails that only show up when you flip not empty jump and the fact that his downward momentum disappeared instantly after the flip

its interesting the 1v1 showmatches have been performing worse relatively. But just to be clear, that's not the reason I am not doing them. I try and setup a 1v1 showmatch basically every day it just has been harder to get them scheduled

@@5-iwnl-596 Daniel's goal should never have been allowed to happen. FK and in particular Chronic's defending was atrocious, a single jump would have been enough to stop it and would have covered both the fake and the shot. It was a good goal but nowhere near to the extent that it was made out to be.
@@5-iwnl-596 Low on boost? He had 98 in the tank when he initiated the jump. He also didn't 50 Jack at all. Yes, a single jump from Chronic would have been enough to stop the goal. Did you even watch it? The take over the top of FK was nice and I can forgive him for not challenging early (even though I think a lot of EU players would have), but Chronic just sat in net and did nothing even though Jack had rotated back. An early challenge, a single jump and it would have been saved easily. There is not a single individual aspect to that goal that most pros could not do with relative ease - it is the combination of all of them together that made it stand out. Also, I never once said it wasn't better, but I sure as hell don't think it was the best goal in RLCS history.
