You fucking scared me with your intro. BAM! Welcome back to another video! Jumped out at me.

good tutorial but I am not clear on how to save the masks and go back to editing the whole photo once the masks are in place

Making masks using colour ranges is another very powerful means of targetting parts of images, either for correction issues - chromatic abberations, or for artistic effects.

That's a really great point Martin! Very useful way to use masks :-)

I was wondering if I will get something similar to Lumionisity Mask as that of LR. Thanks for explaining so nicely.

    Like this tutorial 👍
It could have done with some more complex masking examples such as areas containing various interweaved elements such as busy foliage etc

Better than the tutorials on the Capture 1 website and channel. First video series I’ve seen that I can work along with.

Can you do the panoramic stitching of multiple images in capture 1 pro?

Nice and concise and with sparkle :) The only thing missing was the finish clicks to create a flattened save from the selected adjustment layers? Maybe next time.

Good video, thanks. How do you recommend masking around hair or fly aways?

Thanks Lyall, that can definitely be very tricky. I'll have a look and maybe we'll do another tutorial specifically for that :-)

What would be really nice would be to have a feature on a video like this to turn O F F the background music. Oh Em Gee!
I am one of those people who HAS to listen. Its just the way my brain works. I cannot ignore the music in the background. It is impossible. No amount of will can do it. I hate the distraction in the background because it means that the content of the video, no matter how good, is useless for me.

I find these videos hard to understand because his speech is too fast and his hand movements are very distracting also his intro is manic. I cant watch these videos anymore.
