Exactly Elsie.. after my divorce, I met with a small group of women who live in my community for drinks . I stayed about an hour and a half before I left. I couldn't be in that energy of backstabbing heavy drinking and competition even between each other. I'd much rather spend time in meditation, walking on the beach near my home and manifesting my future..
Coming from a similar small town which I refer to as a black hole of negativity that is such a hard thing to do but so worth it. I've also put down the drink myself and have been so much happier without both influences in my life.
