    I am an Indian and I don't know much about British politics and it's nuances.
    But Sunak's wife is the daughter of Indian tech billionaire who's company is registered in India. She inherits a portion of that wealth which is generated in India.
    I don't know why she has any obligation to pay a tax to UK on that wealth (generated in India) while she is an Indian citizen. No country's laws on earth provide that weirdness.
    I don't know how Sunak earned his wealth, but if he did it through Govt corruption, then he deserves this defeat and should be prosecuted under law.
    But targeting him solely because his wife has a rich family background is to me very absurd.
