- Last one of our class specialisation episodes and it's a little messy and stuck together, but, I do pretty well which is a pleasant change. :D

***** T-rex and Spino both have 2500 health now.
They both have the same walk and sprint speed, but Rex gains speed faster than Spino when you start sprinting.
Spino can bite much more rapidly than T-rex.
Spino has claw swipe and Rex has tail swipe, but tail swipe is more useful because you hit people behind you, while with claw swipe you could just step on them for near the same damage.
then probably the strategy would be to claw swipe, then step on them
@tehmackness that doesnt work because claw swipe sends enemies flying into the air which basically kills them of fall damage unless they fall on higher ground

When you walked towards the broken stone bridge, I literally just yelled out "NO DON'T GO THERE BESTINSLOT NOO!". Then you fell.
I've always had a hard time controlling the T Rex. The Spinosaurus too. The only big dinosaur I could control was the Carnotaur. Just like how it was for you it was an assist machine. But the T Rex looks pretty hard ass though.

They went a MASSIVE change in the transfer to Extinction. In 1.3 (the most recent build of the original game) The Tyrants had 50% stronger armor than the other dinos. This meant that it said the Rex had 2,000 health, but it was actually like it had 4,000 health, and it was like Spino had 5,000. This armor buff made it IMPOSSIBLE to die as one of them. They were so over powered. Now they have scrapped the armor buff (thank god) and the tyrants are back to their balanced state.
They should have a slight Armor buff.

That's not really what I regard as a fundamental change. Yeah they'll mess with the figures as the game progresses, but every other class (dinosaurs at least) feels different to -play-. The Tyrants don't.
***** I understand you. Just saying they made a huge change to the class to balance the game. I agree the tyrants don't really feel that different. It's just the good old eating people. I got 43 kills as a rex earlier today.
The spino has more health and is faster? How the bloody hell does that make sense?

The funny thing is that because of spino's sail it makes it more vulnerable, people do realise that is its SPINE? if it goes on its back, it breaks its spine, killing it. -.-

I personally think Rex is quite a bit better than Spino in Extinction (even though the volcano skin is awesome) But in the original game Spino was an over powered monster.

That's inaccurate. Research and evidence suggests that the spinosaurus was a water based dinosaur. They were situated in swamp and Riverland. Their diet, as research suggests, was fish and other water creatures.
the Primal Carnage series was made before htta discovery
Remember, the original game was made before that and they weren't going to drastically change the Spino.
True but I suppose the game creators are going off on Jurassic Park III because it's basically the same model bipedal super predator
if you haven't noticed, most video games don't pride themselves on accuracy. That's why the spino is like it is, that's why the dilo and cryo are far too small compared to the real animals, ect......need I go on?
Panar Banana the only thing that would change in-game would be a river the spinosaurus could lurk in and pick off humans. In a game where the whole point is humans fighting dinosaurs, you're not really going to stop them from making the spinosaurus eat them

I believe they should change the way on how tyrant classes should be selected. Instead of the first person click on it, there should be requirements to do to become any of tyrant classes. I know it feels call of duty-esque, but it seems partially fitting considering it is to become the turning point of the team.

Primal carnage has another inaccurate thing about Spinosaur (in late 2014 Paleontologists found out that spinosaurus acually walked on its hands and feet so it was a 4 leged dinosaur) for example crocodiles and hippos

Since they added the Jurassic park skin pack they should add some lines of dialog to the characters for example if the the hunter spots a raptor and shoots it and if the raptor gets away have the hunter character say "clever girl"

BIS Spino does not have more health he is not faster and he does not do more damage. And thanks for noticing that we Australians taste delicious we put a lot of time to make sure we taste best :)
They're basically the same just the roars are different and secondary attacks

Guys quit arguing about the spinosaurus not being accurate. The thing is the new representation of spinosaurus could be true but a lot of scientists doubt it. It might look something like the new representation but the legs are way too small it just doesn't look right and it could easily stand up and walk maybe not run but it's still an intimidating creature. They'll get it right eventually let's not just stick to the new right now and be open about things until then.

i wish someone would make a game were someone is a T-rex or Spino in a big forest and there were 4-5 people trying to kill it

It's not dinosaurs but look up Evolve. It's literally the exact same concept.
Thunder Theropod yea ive seen it but i hate the futurestic nature of it because i want it to be modern day type thing...kinda like this but as i explained earlyer.....just one t-rex and a few hunters...kinda like the megalodon hunt in depth
Well you know, dinosaurs and giant monsters are two different things. You know it would be cool if they put some aquatic edition fro primal carnage and you can play as mosasaur or megalodon or even leviathian. The hunters are in scubas........okay the idea got bad really bad from there.

I think (before I watch the vid this is) that the most enjoyable classes for the viewer to watch are scientist, commando, trapper, flyers, and carno. Btw, anyone know what happened to capture the egg? I loved that mode.
