In a discussion group a couple years ago, we were opposed with the question of what we wanted our legacy to be. And it was aimed at motherhood, but I think it's important for everyone to consider what they want their legacy to be, because we DO get to choose it!
Agreed, we most definitely decide our path, our destiny is in our hands and we have the power to impart the best of us to our children and our loved ones, they deserve it.
legacy is short lived. meaning, it will only exist as long as your kids and grandkids are alive. after that, if your name ever comes up, it will be a footnote. so make the best of what you can now, live the best life and have no regrets. remember, within 3 generations, folks won't even recall your name.
