RG is the LoP. He has to speak to the whole nation. There are lots of people in India who don't understand a word of Hindi. They too must be addressed. So people in the South feel happy that he is speaking in English even if it is only a small percentage of his speech. South strongly feels that the country primarily looks after the needs of Hindi speaking North. So it is essential that RG also speak in English which the Southerners can understand
Oratory comes from knowledge , data & intelligence!
Rahul Gandhi has his own style. No doubt he needs to improve but he gave a good speech and touched on all the right points.
