It’s great that women are being integrated into the army I have a dear friend that’s is a veteran I have known her for years it brings a tear to my eye knowing what she has accomplished
As an audience, we often just appreciate, "The Performance".
I love, love, love, watching rehearsal and preparation processes behind the scenes!
Royal Marines Corps of Drums, best in the world!
Love the drums. More like a work of art than a drum. Not familiar with the drumming
technique used here but it works for them. I'm guessing it is rooted in tradition.
Thanks for sharing. Would love to see a longer clip about drummers training and
maybe one when new potential drummers are coming in for an audition.
Excellent ensemble
Mené de main de maître !
Brilliant guys thanks for the sharing ❤🙏💙👏👏👏👏
I remember it well. Early to mid 60s
I love how you guys are working with music form Thomas Bergersen
Ladies in the Royal Marines? Excellent if they are
Women are now allowed to join the Royal Marines now (not just the band) and all infantry regiments.
That’s really good, wasn’t like that when I served, mind that was 40 years ago
Scuse me for asking, but just what is the point of constantly bringing the sticks to your upper lip?
My uneducated guess is that it is for visual purposes. Sort of a quirky kind
of thing to those of us not familiar with their technique.
looks
Bogeys
It is a drill movement. The same as an infantry soldier has specific movements to perform while on parade such as coming to a halt or shouldering arms, bandsmen have drill movements that are unique to their trade.
@@bronxcheer031 i am an retired welsh guardsman . guards division bands do the same . it is for show .
👍🏻
Are any of the drum scores available to civilians .I especially like what you play on parade just by yourselves 👍
Just sniff your drumsticks with a straight face and you got it 👍
When electronic fail and it will fail, British military gonna survive using bugle and drums
Fine ladies indeed the BEST reason for better tomorrow
When I first saw the still photo I thought they were playing nose flutes.
plug your ears
🥰💞🥰
Barely speaks English, does he.
May seem so to an idiot...
Why is there a woman?
women are fully integrated into the military in the UK , from infanteers,to mechanics, medics, cavalry soldiers, and yes even Royal Marines.
Well let me educate you. in the world there are Men ( they have cocks) and there are women ( They have Pussy's ) Now how it works is, the men try to put their cocks in the women pussy's and the women try to find out how much money the men make at work. If it's plenty then they give you entry, if they are stupid like you, then it's a no go and they tell you to do one. I hope that explains it for you? Oh and why shouldn't women be in the band?
See you just got out of you cave.
