What's special about these wheels?
Built in the USA, the deep V rim is incredibly versatile, strength with aerodynamics make it an excellent rim for training, racing or around town cycling. Tied together by Xero Lite hubs, this wheelset is awesome for the weight weenie coming in at under 4.5lbs for the set (including skewers). Expect a quality, quiet, comfortable ride with low maintenance and long lasting wheels.
*Xero is a Taiwanese company that produces its own high quality high end aero wheels. This wheelset, was built in roughly 2008 when Xero merged its hubs with USA Velocity rims. Taiwan has an incredibly avid cycling community and holds a UCI race, Tour de Taiwan annually that became officially recognized by the UCI back in 2005. So, these wheels rode in on the shoulders of Taiwan's now internationally recognized cat 1/2 race!

Overall: These wheels are in great shape, true and round. I set them up on the truing stand and any little bit of wobble came out super easy. The front wheel is true and round, but there's the smallest little hop in it. Take a look at the video. It's barely noticeable. One spoke nipple is rounded. I took off one point for that.

You can fit a Shimano 105 11-34 cassette on there, it'll work. I have set of Easton ea90 sl with a 10 speed hub, Shimano made that specific cassette fit.

Yes, any Shimano model from 8-10 speed will work
