    I think the majority of people are lost and so influenced by media, social media, money and materialistic possessions, that we don’t know who or what we are anymore. True inner peace will never be found unless these are all removed. I am a victim of this, as that is what we are brought into. It is so hard to unlearn what society subjects us to. You are not successful unless you are beautiful, rich, or popular. So much stress and expectation. It’s no wonder we all need so much help. Peace and happiness to you all.

      I know it’s challenging in the beginning but it’s helpful to remember that this is why we’re practicing meditation in the first place. We’re essentially retraining our mind. So every time you notice your mind has wandered, just bring your attention back to the present moment. Be patient and gentle with yourself. In time, you’ll start living more in the present and less in your thoughts about the past or future. You’ve got this💛

      Meditation is not something everyone can start with right away, for example when someone has PTSD it can actually be mpre stressful to meditate. In that case try guided breathing exercises to calm the system down. Try different breathing tecniques or follow guides, that way it is easier to distract the brain. It is not dangerous for the brain to remember or to feel anxiety but it can be very stressful, it is the brains way of trying to sort everything and to understand what has happened and heal ❤

      Going for walks in middle of some woods, in contact with nature, garden, body of water might help too I think? :D

      Gym workout is for physical fitness and Yoga/meditation is for mental fitness. A human needs both physical and mental fitness.

      You're not alone💛 Meditation can be challenging, especially in the beginning. Remember to be patient with yourself and practice self-compassion. Guided meditations were really helpful for me in the beginning. Have you tried them before?

      My meditation practice varies depending on what I need at the moment. Sometimes I do focus on my breath, other times I follow guided meditations, etc.

    What is Anapanasati Meditation?
    ‘Ana’ means ‘In-Breath’
    ‘Apana’ means ‘Out-Breath’
    ‘Sati’ means ‘Be With’
    In “Anapanasati Meditation“,
    the attention of the mind should constantly be on the normal, natural breath.
    The task on hand is effortful, joyful oneness with the breath.
    No ”mantra” to be chanted…
    no form of any ‘ deity ‘ to be entertained in the mind…
    no hathayogic pranayama like ‘ kumbhaka ‘..
    holding the breath.. should be attempted.
    What is the procedure?
    Hands should be clasped and all fingers should go into all fingers
    The feet should be crossed
    The eyes should be closed
    Observe the normal natural breath
    Note - Any comfortable sitting posture can be taken… The posture should be as comfortable as possible…It is not at all necessary that we should squat on the ground… You can perfectly prefer a comfortable sofa…

      Meditation is about bringing yourself into the present and practicing awerness. It’s good for your mental health and you can actually do it everywhere/anytime (you don’t need a quiet place). This video is quite inaccurate.
