May 10 2024 Chopin 10-4 run,

Twice during this run, I hit a button which lightened the piano action to the lightest setting possible, so all the tones were coming out ff… Not sure why my third finger was straightening out and found this in the same place every time…
I am adamant about not redistributing notes in the middle section as many do- trying to master the difficulties as honestly as possible to the original text- very difficult to do and maintain the chosen tempo! I usually practice this slower, and treat it almost as if it were a Bach work of imitation … a great etude for giving equal emphasis to BOTH hands, unlike many of the Chopin études where the rh is given most of the difficulties
