Yup, he was in the hotel room and going to an event. He used the phone to talk to his fan and was asked to sing the full version of the song, he does it for his fans. He just used the tissue paper to wrap the mic of the earpiece and sang, he was kneeling on the floor by the bed!:) ZHOU SHEN was not placed on the top 6 in the Super Vocal show because it was a show mainly for the operas, but he was the most loved among the 35 members in the show. One of them told fans that the best voice was ZHOU SHEN, and he has to tell the fans why ZHOU SHEN got such voice, he said that they live and eat together for 3 months for the show, he realized that ZHOU SHEN has a crystal heart, so kind, pure, clean, and compassionate, that his pure and crystal heart brings out his crystal, clean, and beautiful voice. ZHOU SHEN does not only sing beautifully, but he also has a very childlike naughty soul, and a mischievous, teasing, humorous, and funny personality trait..with a pure and crystal heart...I think he is an angel.

You're right! He has an angel heart. He never wants to win, or pull down anybody. He loves making friends, and result of a competition isn't important with him, he just wants to perform on the stage, be accepted by the audiences.

Go to Zhou Shen and see his song ‘The Song of Paradise Island’ that iwas sang in chinese. The original song came from a English version known as ‘Hide and Seek’. Zhou Shen is one of the producer for this chinese song. You can see another side of him again.

Master Andrew Loyd Webber definitely will be shocked with this version.🤣. ShenShen always love to sing and he is a modest guy who doesn’t care about competing. He just join so he can learn more singing style of other singers. That’s why some of the producers nicked name him an unlabeled singer. ShenShen always love the joke with his fans. Yes, Zhou Shen, Charlie Zhou is indeed so unique not to be missed. So glad that he stepped out from his comfort zone and bravely faced the world with his unique voice. I just loved his voice and his crazy character too.

I love his personality. He looks like he would be a lot of fun to be around. His talent, of course, is undeniable. It will be interesting to see how he progresses and how he presents his performances in the future. I'm happy to see that you will be following him.
He is a very polite and very humble guy. Yes, he was just recorded on his phone and his voice is the same as he was performing on any stage because he got a lot of videos which he was recorded at his home for his fan to watch on the internet and he was only recorded on his computer and his voice is the same. On your second video of think of me in this video, I have one which is the same video but the background is from the actual movie of Phantom of the opera. Check this out and you will love it I promise. I really enjoyed his lower register! His high voice reminds me of Tiny Tim, an American entertainer who sang and played ukulele in the 1970's. He was more of a comedian and not taken seriously.

There are 6 winners for Super Vocal. Some of them formed a group and participated in 'The Singer'. So yea, 'The Singer' performances are a good insight into the winners of Super Vocal.
My English isn't good enough. This show is competition by the team(6 people), Shen Shen didn't win because the team didn't win. And this program is based on musicals and operas, he is a pop singer. In his own concert this month and last month, he showed his the other side to us, have a very different style of song.
The long version with the microphone surrounded by toilet paper is mythical. It's a wonder every time I hear it.

By the way, I am not sure do you know Zhou Shen is entering The singer 2020 show in China this year and his first performance was the song called 'Big fish' which was from an animation movie made from China a while ago and also this song makes his so famous after he entered many competitions. czcams.com/video/gzv4_7Wbv8c/video.html. The song is started from 3.30 because I only can find this one for you if you are still interested in him because I saw your reaction lists and I didn't see you did anymore reaction from him but if you are still like his voice, you can do reaction on him again since he is on The Singer 2020 and a show just before The singers show, the program which is called 'Our song' which a lot of people around the world are reacting on him.
Charlie is so talented, you can react to his latest 2 rock songs with live band from the programme "Let's Band". And his live performance on his 27th birthday (29 Sep 2019), he did nearly 3 hours of live performance for his fans. It was a great live show for all fans. He is a adorable singer with very good personality and humble and respects his teachers. His concert is coming in Nov 9 in Beijing and other 6 cities, we anticipate his performance by then. Hope I am lucky to get a ticket to see his live performance.

Thank you. I watched all 12 full episodes of Super Vocals with English subtitles. I discovered many things including the format of the show which had 36 participants who auditioned to become one of six principal singers (team leaders) or understudies. Principals and understudies changed during the competition. Unfortunately, Zhou Shen was an understudy. For this particular solo performance Zhou Shen did not have a prepared song and sang only what lyrics he could remember for Think of Me. Also, I learned that Zhou did not have confidence in his natural singing abilities opposed to his fellow competitors who had formal training. The pressure was tremendous for Zhou Shen to help win for his team, and although I personally loved every Zhou Shen performance, he could not bring a win to his team.

Zhou shen had formal training of music in Lviv National Musical Academy named after Mykola Lysenko and graduated with A level.
That show was cut so badly to try to catch public’s eyeballs. It mislead Zhou Shen’s education, mislead him like a crybaby which is not true. Zhou Shen is the most popular singer in China now. He released about 50 new songs in 2021, and he is as busy in 2022 also. He just released a new song ＂奇遇樂章＂The Amazing Journey of Music - The lovely series of Disney movies this week 11/28/22, Disney Movie 100 year celebration . The rules are complicated but generaly every week the best 6 principals (opera term for the solists) had to choose their partner/partners for the next week from the rest of 30 contestants. They had then to choose a song, do the arrangemtens and harmonies by themself so that they suit their voices. The quality of the show is absolutely amazing. If you like Zhou Shen you had to hear his duet with Wang Xi a bass - they desperately wanted to sing together as they have the exact same range - just octaves apart. By the way the eng subs are up for the whole show and its really even more interesting to see how the more stage experienced did everything to help the others (some of them are still students).

I love this Super Vocal show. I can't stop watching it! Yes, English subtitles are great, and we can finally understand what is going on. It really gives context to all the songs, duets, trios, as we understand the challenges and get to know all the singers and judges.

But I am always very happy to see the one he sings beside his bed in the hotel room. I love it as we see his personality and feel more intimately connected with him.
Although Super Vocal's top six (the so-called "Winner") are also good, Zhou Shen has a unique voice that no one else has. Since he is a pop singer, he had commercial performances during the game, so he did not participate few episodes. Maybe this is one of the reasons why he can't get into the top six. I believe he was invited to participate in the competition, in order to attract more attention and make the show more people watch, this is a gimmick. I think even if he sings very well from the beginning, he won't win. In this show, those professional pop singers also can't enter into "top six". p.s. his phone mic was wrapped with a tissue.
