In real life it wouldnt be like that. They all would treat this player as an Entertainer, background music while they do their things, eat drink and act cool. Same happens for all the ignored skilled buskers that play everyday in front of us without we even notice them.

There's something called love. If you sawthe movie, you obviously understand her husband doesn't know how to really love another human being, as he is too materialistic and non-empathic to other people. He lives in a Universe of consumerism and where having a wife is about having a female company, having sex and having kids. Hope you understand this, there's more to life then just blind commitment. Maybe she was too unexperienced in love when she got engaged.
She was cowardish in the end, because she went back to the only life she knew besides barcelona. If she kept living in barcelona she would have changed. And she was only scared of really falling in love like the last time, because she associates that love experience with the danger coming from Maria Helena's hot tempered relationship with Javier Bardem. In the end she was going to be with Javier, only Maria Helena's crazy attitude scared her off. I don't support non honesty, i think she should have dumped her husband in the end and freed herself from that relationship,so she could meet someone else in the future.

I can not stand cheaters because almost always they have the option to just end unhappy relationships and move on instead of cause themselves and others pain by being unfaithful.
