The hopeful one is beautiful and is used in the game beyond this scene. The intimate one is Kara’s theme. That’s a cool way to tie in the soundtrack.

2. Hopeful it`s the opening theme the game when Kara arrives to Alice's house
3. Intimate it`s the Kara`s theme. The song name is "Little One" by Philip Sheppard and it can be heared in "Kara Main Theme", "By Firelight", "Carousel", "Not Just a Machine"

Kara's them isn't named Little One as people say. It starts different, sounds different, and Kara's actual theme has the more "emotional" feel to it, especially throughout the second half while Little One is just a loop.

I think it takes longer than using a guitar - all the really good @$%# on piano takes many months to learn if you only do 20 min. a day. That's at least my experience and I've been at it for over 5 years now.

I think that the Intimate one is actually a variation of Kara's theme (she has a lot of theme variations, but this one seems to match the version called Little One the most).

The chapter were Markus is on a rooftop (or something like that) and you have the choice to play the piano, this scene makes that chapter be more sad or intimate because he played the piano remembering Carl and his old live before Leo's "decision". 😢

I love these options. Haven't done the book reading yet, but it's actually a "minigame" unlike chess. The other great thing is how the music changes depending on how you play it. Your Hopeful one was masterful, and the way you played the Enigmatic one was definitely interesting. I think it sounds more haunting at about half that speed, but that's personal opinion. Thanks for this. I wanted to go back and play all these but didn't really want to take the time to reload it again and again.

The intimate one reminds me a lot of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the music that plays when you find a memory. The notes that were pressed in a burst of 3 with a pause, reminded me of it.

I think the first one you play is probably how Markus would play that song in the actual lore. Like, that's pretty much cannon. That's pretty much his theme after-all anyways.

The enigmatic one is kind of like.. Almost a foreshadowing towards his path of destruction or potential evil for when he picks a violent route. I think that's also kind of perfect since that's also another part of his theme song apparently.
I learned The main theme and Kara’s theme (only I simplified it because it requires like eight hands) but it was super fun to learn! Totally recommend learning if you have the patience.
I played melancholic and godness the emotions, the feelings when I was playing it.. I feel like it was showing the conflict that was within markus then

1:43 there’s a little mistake here, the piece was fast about semiquavers or fast tempo but Markus played the chord with slow tempo and it doesn’t include the A note in the chord
