Reversing the original roles of these two works almost “too” well. With Naruto’s upbringing taken into account, it’s almost more believable than the original story.
it is more beliveable because sasuke only left to get strong to kill itachi and beat naruto due to plot and naruto not knocking him out when he had the chance naruto leaving makes perfect sense and if obito apporached a kid naruto he would likely join

Really, I see that Naruto has a lot more potential than Sasuke if he went evil. A huge storage of chakra/energy was always one of the best advantages anyone could hope for.

Pain,obito,zabuza,gaara and literally almost all villains reapected naruto. Danzo,deidara ,gaara or others sasuke faught didn't respect him as much as Naruto.
I would kill to see this alternate timeline expanded further, especially since the subtitles were written in a believable way to show the reversed roles and not just copy pasted from the original script

I feel like naruto could've easily convinced kurama to share his power freely if he went evil, I dont think kurama would be against burning everything down at that point in the story
He would probably still not do it being that he is the son of the same person that sealed him in the first place and second he is a human Kurama much rather destroy the village himself than let someone else do it by using his power
That's possible, Kurama just wants to kill humans. I just don't know if Kurama would accept be used by a human, but Naruto has talk no jutsu... so that's really possible.
Yes, Naruto could simply come to an agreement with Kurama to control his powers in exchange for freedom, or he could simply use force to control him through the tug of war, he might even have some difficulty defeating him but Naruto is unscrupulous surely he would do anything to win, even using dirty and cowardly tactics.

this is actually making me emotional like damn. also the way you draw naruto post time skip makes his resemblance to minato even more obvious so it's double heartwrenching when you think about how both minarto and kushina sacrificed themselves for naruto and the village, only for canon to turn left and have naruto remain ostracized/give in to his very shitty deal in life. Konoha haunted by two specters of the Yellow Flash -- the fourth hokage who died young, and as a hero and martyr; and his son who rejected exactly all of that because the village was undeserving of it.

Yup, this does have some unique potential considering what goody two shoes Naruto was in reality, he pulled some pranks but in reality he could have easily become darker than black yet he didn't. We did have Obito and Gaara as a versioms of Naruto who lost hope but still not the same.

Bruh, I’ll never understand how Orochimaru, in all his scheming and experimentations never had more of an interest in Naruto (obviously due to the plot and writing) but like objectively speaking, Orochimaru should have taken him to study and attempt to harness.
He had his own rights to become evil, we can’t stop him now.

This concept is extremely interesting. I find the idea of Naruto leaving the village far more dangerous than Sasuke doing so. Sasuke is an S class ninja with an extremely powerful dojutsu; he’s dangerous. Naruto, on the other hand, is not just an S class ninja; he’s a jinchuuriki and also the son of the previous Hokage. That would be a far more serious blow to Konoha’s prestige and military power.
Naruto would still have to kill pain but I still think jiraya and orochimaru would have to switch too.
And Naruto made many bad guys into good guys by talk no jutsu
Ex:- Gaara, Obito, Pain, Zabuza otherwise Mohona would be wrecked

I could definitely see as a potential outcome of the Naruto timeline. Sasuke choosing to let go of his need of revenge & bettering himself, and Naruto succumbing to the loneliness & resentment he once held in his heart since he was very young.

Sai as Naruto's replacement would hit a lot harder in this version especially when you consider how Naruto didn't initially approve of Sai to begin with in the original timeline. Now, he feels as if he never meant anything to his former friends and they just proved that he was right for turning on Konoha.

This feels like a legitimate timeline that could happen. Given the fact that he was shunned by everybody, it's plausible that this iteration was pushed to the brink.

Edit: The only issue I see here is that all the characters cared so little about him that they wouldn't have even chased him for relationship purposes. Sasuke would have probably kept focusing on Itachi and Sakura sure as hell would not cry to sasuke about bringing naruto back. They only formed bonds with him because he never gave up on them and repeatedly saved them, not vice versa.

When you think that naruto had every reason to turn evil and hate Konoha, being treated like trash and a misfit by almost every villager. It's even more amazing how strong his mentality was and how he choose to change his situation through hard work, not taking shortcuts by giving up on morals.
Agara's struggle to be recognized by everyone is what makes Kazekage Garra motivated to change for the better

This outcome would've actually had more of a chance of happening than people think, if Iruka wasn't there for Naruto I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up occurring as the plot.

But if he joined the akatsuki willingly and controls kyuubi, he can give a part of the kyuubi to them to create the ten tails, right? Like with bee, the only thing that they got from him was a small part of his tentacles and yet obito or madara (i forgot) still managed to bring out the ten tails.
