- I DJ'ed the local Bassmaster Classic event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Tulsa. The winner of the competition was given a $300,000.00 check. Unfortunately, this was the first time SoundSwitch gave me issues.

Yep, that was the very first time I couldn't get it to work at a gig. I have a wedding this Sat. Hopefully I don't have any issues.

The SS issue is easily fixed. Sometimes you need to "force" the connection. In VDJ right click on the HOTCUE button on either deck. Click DMX then click any one of the buttons below. It will then connect. There are a number of videos on CZcams walking you through it.

Thanks!! Yeah I know the bassmaster classic is a pretty big deal and I'm very happy to be a part of it now. My equipment is an open book. Great Gig Log. I have a community event to DJ this Saturday, and the crowd will be exactly as the crown in the video. They want country and pop music with no dancing. I don't know much country, so I'm wondering if you can send me a list of the country music you played here. They gave you great compliments, and I hope to get the same. Thanks

Thanks! I sold my black RF4s last year when I purchased my new white IR4s so I can't answer that question. My IR4s are still lasting a very long time though. No complaints here.
Are you just using autoloops for your 360 tubes? Or do you script your tubes? Have you programmed any chases for the tubes? Also, what bag are you using for your IR4s? The bag carries 4. I see you are carrying 6. For soundswitch, try closing virtual dj and soundswitch. Turn on virtual dj and then turnon soundswitch. In virtual dj, go do dmx where the cues dropdown is. Click on any of the pads once you are in that dmx mode. Sometimes this will get virtual dj to communicate with SS.
Lots of questions here lol. I use attribute cues for my 360 tubes. I also use this bag to carry my lights. I made a video about these bags.

I absolutely recommend my rock n roller cart. It's the R14. It has big wheels on it that makes for a smooth ride when transporting your gear over different terrains.

Nope, you don't. Soundswitch is designed to work on the same computer as your dj software. That's how they link up.
Man I do not like hotel/downtown load ins! Such an inconvenience
Same here!! Anytime the client tells me their gig is at a downtown hotel, I just shake my head knowing I am gonna have a horrible load in.
Ditch the background music. Too distracting
