Mark Weathington and Dennis Carey will be in the garden taking a closer look at our Prunus mume (Japanese flowering apricots) collection. Join them online as they tell us all about Japanese flowering apricots. Mark has also lined up some delicacies created with their fruit for a tasting.
In our ongoing efforts to improve outdoor recording, we experimented with new video equipment. Unfortunately, it was a failure. We'll continue our efforts to improve out outdoor programs.

Very thorough review! I can see a lot of efforts were put in making an introduction of Prunus Mume. They are very knowledgeable. There are not a lot of resources about the differences among various Cultivars. I was wondering what are the differences between Matsubara red and Hokkai Bongo. Mark provided the answer in the video. Thanks for providing this video about the long beloved plant - Prunus Mume.
