Graham, I'm buying this piano... thanks for your demo! The Perspex front is a game changer! You should tell Yamaha to offer it as an option. Until then, could you provide some info on how to remove the front panel and how you secured the Perspex to the piano? Thanks
I’ll be an additional voice here requesting info on how I can purchase this with the Perspex front. I much prefer to see the hammer action as I play!
The perspex is a demonstration glass only and not availabe for sale, but I am sure you could get a piece made somewhere if you really want to see the hammers and key action all the time. Kindest regards Graham
I wish you could actually buy it with the window showing the hammers. It looks awesome. Did you modify it that way? How much work was it?

Could you provide some steps to disassembling the front fallboard?
Hi,
It's not recommended to remove the front panel as dust will affect the advanced sensor system inside the piano.
Our display models have a perspex front panel just for demonstration purposes.

Really impressive demonstration!! I'd love to try one of these out. - Just a question about the sound - was the piano recorded directly from the audio output jack, or using a microphone via the on board speakers? - The audio is sounding a bit distorted as if the recording levels were set a bit high. I'm hoping this is just a factor of how it was recorded, rather than how it actually sounds in real life. Great demo, and hoping to get my hands on one of these soon!
Hi,
This was recorded using a microphone in-room with the piano. The amplification system in the piano is superb!

@@RimmersMusicVideo Excellent, thanks for clarifying!!
Lots of clipping on the audio peaks. Spoils the video.
