Jackson got released because he's a thug with a "me first" attitude, Shady was traded mostly for the money, just as Mathis and Maclin were cut/ not resigned because of money. Foles was traded because Chip thought Bradford was better, and it looks like he's right.
All these new pieces take time to come together, hence our record, but things are looking good, we just beat the Pats man.

Sam Bradford was a Heisman Winner, as compared to Nick Foles. I can understand why he did it. Chip even gave Tim Tebow a shot.

Honestly being a cowboys fan, I hated playing against the trio of Vick, McCoy, Jackson. Along side Maclin, Young Jason Kelce, Young Jason Peters, Evan Mathis. Asante Samuel on defense, Trent Cole, Jason babin, Kurt Coleman, if they kept that trio I believe they would’ve been contending understandable for Vick injury problem but oh boy have lane Johnson on the RT and LT Jason peters

I would say that half of me wanted to keep LeSean McCoy because he was damn good at times but I think the reason that Chip got rid of him was the ball control (dude, stop holding the ball with just your hand, tuck it or put two arms on it). He also kept trying to make bigger plays while losing yards and his injuries were keeping off the field. He seemed to have the Desean Jackson stubbornness where he didn't seem to learn from his mistakes (why Jackson, would a professional ball player put the ball on the one yard line, not just once but three times (he got away with the third one)?)
As for losing Nick Foles well he just sucked and no longer starts for the rams anyway. For Maclin, I don't think we could afford to pay Jeremy Maclin or chip would have kept him (I think Jeremy Maclin was the best player that we lost). As for taking Murray (a running back that doesn't fit our offence) I think he wanted to take a weapon away from Dallas (cold if it hurts his career).
Well, they are just my speculations and I can't really tell if they hurt or helped us. I personal feel that we would have suck this year if we keep the team whole but then I think Chip was trying to be too smart too.
