The date on barbie is the date the mold was created. Some of the older barbie also have the date in the rim of the neck having to remove her head to view the date. I enjoyed your video, I like seeing others collection.

For sure! In fact, I forgot to say that a couple of the things in this video were actually from the Barbie stuff that I played with as a young girl...with my sisters.
I realized when listing the dolls on Etsy that Skooter was wearing Skippers dress and crinoline. I guess they liked to share clothes ;) I fixed my mistake on the listings that are now live on Etsy for the older stuff shown here.
How the timely! I know two women at work (in their 50’s) who started collecting after seeing the movie, and I found out a cousin (in her 40’s) just started collecting them too! The girls from work said finding accessories, especially shoes and boots are difficult so I think you will do really well with all of these, if these ladies are any indication.
