  • Dear Friends and Fellow Wanderers,
I write to you from a dusty trail, where the sun beats down relentless and the wind whispers tales of a time long past. I wish to share with you a tune, a humble ballad titled "Tumbleweeds," that carries with it the echoes of an era and the spirit of the West.
As we traverse the desolate landscapes of a burnt ghost town, "Tumbleweeds" paints a vivid picture of a life on the move. This song tells the tale of a drifter-a soul unbound by roots or ties-wandering through the ashes of what was once a bustling community. The town, now just a shadow of its former self, stands as a testament to the impermanence of life and the relentless march of time. The wind carries the scent of smoke and the silence of empty streets, where memories linger like ghosts in the daylight.
In these poignant verses, we find the essence of freedom and resilience. The tumbleweeds, rolling aimlessly across the barren land, mirror the drifter's own journey-a path dictated by the whims of the wind. Through nostalgic melodies and heartfelt lyrics, "Tumbleweeds" captures the rugged beauty of a life untethered, a life that knows no bounds but the horizon itself.
This song, dear friends, is more than just a melody; it is a reflection on the transient nature of our existence and the quiet strength found in wandering. It speaks of a place where laughter once echoed and fires once burned, now reduced to silent ruins and lingering shadows. Yet, in this desolation, there is a haunting beauty, a reminder of the wild, untamed spirit that drives us to roam the open plains.
As you listen to "Tumbleweeds," may you feel the dust beneath your feet and the vastness of the sky above. Let it remind you of the endless roads yet to travel and the stories waiting to be told. For in the heart of every wanderer lies a yearning for freedom, a yearning that no chains can bind.
    Yours in spirit and song,
    A Fellow Drifter

On a dusty road in the heat of July,
    Saw a tumbleweed rollin' by,
Kicked up the dust with a lonesome sigh,
Just like a drifter, it caught my eye.
    Tumbleweeds, rollin' free,
Dancin' in the wind, like a memory.
Ain't got no roots, ain't got no ties,
Just a free spirit under big blue skies.
In a ghost town where the fire had its way,
Ashes of secrets, no room for gray.
No bar, no lights, just shadows erased,
The flames purged the evil, left an empty space.
    Tumbleweeds, rollin' free,
Dancin' in the wind, like a memory.
Ain't got no roots, ain't got no ties,
Just a free spirit under big blue skies.
She whispered, "Life's a long, winding road,
Don't carry much, just a heavy load."
But when you're rollin' with the breeze,
You feel alive, and you feel at ease.
So we walked through the ruins, hand in hand,
In the silence, we made our stand.
The fire's truth had set us free,
From the darkness that we couldn't see.
    Tumbleweeds, rollin' free,
Dancin' in the wind, like a memory.
Ain't got no roots, ain't got no ties,
Just a free spirit under big blue skies.
Now I'm rollin' down that highway, feelin' fine,
With a tumbleweed heart, leavin' it all behind.
In the rearview mirror, I see her face,
But like a tumbleweed, she's left no trace.
