Something interesting ( I think) about Connor : the first time we saw him in the game he was playing with a coin, which is very human because it looks like a way to avoid stress and he’s used to do it in every stressful situation ( like waiting in the elevator for an important mission) I love that little fact about him because it’s the part of humanity that he never loose even if he’s just a machine and never become deviant OvO
Another cool detail is that, if I'm not mistaken, the coin reads 'Liberty' which in itself is kind of ironic given how Connor at the beginning is anything but free and it depends on the player's choices whether or not he becomes free in the end.
The RK-800 model was designed to act more human than other androids.
If I am not mistaken then he is playing with the coin to self-test his condition and reflexes.
Being a detective requires acting, thinking and feeling like the person you investigate, in this case deviants, for me Connor is already a deviant since the beginning, understanding the feelings, motives and purposes of those around him, manipulating them to complete the mission, and it is poetic that he was programmed to think as a human, i just love this game

I just discovered this edit and this is the best edit I've ever seen.
Not only is it beautifully done, but it has so much meaning to it aswell. It perfectly summs up Connor as a character and I love the tiny details so much! How he literally and metaphorically opens his eyes (0:55) to the world of emotions and deviancy and how the video ends with a coin that says "Liberty"... I am absolutely in love with this video

Я недавно посмотрела прохождение этой игры. И честно скажу что она действительно прекрасна и клип тоже. Больше всего мне понравилась сюжетная линия с Коннором, ведь только мы решаем будет он просто машиной или чем-то большим.
Машина это машина. А коннор который стал девиантом - скучный. А маркус вообще самый наискучнейший персонаж.

@@Sattoro Типо моё мнение неправильное? А какое тогда правильное?) Я высказал своё мнение, а тебя я не спрашивал)) Разрабы обосрались с концовками. Я же мыслю логически (не как стадо баранов). Машина не может чувствовать, потому что у неё только код, написанный человеком (или нейросетью). То что в какой то момент роботы внезапно начали "чувствовать" не может произойти само по себе. Возможно, роботы пытались подстраиваться (адаптироваться) к человеку настолько сильно, что начали копировать человека, эмитировать личность. Но это эмитация, баг в программе, или лазейка - про которую говорил Камски. Истребление и отключение всех роботов - самое логичное решение. Тем более у нас же капитализм, а значит государству будет просто не выгодно выдавать различные пособия и т.д куску их же творения.
Кстати, в основном kid и говорят про то что роботы жывыые, что роботов нужно respect, просто потому что им понравилось эта игра, а значит в ней нет никаких странных не логичных деталей.
В основном мне понравилось игра, просто мне не нравится что разрабы будто презирают людей, которые не согласны с их мнением. А иначе концовки были бы ровно наоборот.

Holy red ice, this is the BEST EDIT OF DBH I HAVE EVER SEEN. I take that back, this is the BEST EDIT I HAVE EVER SEEN. It's amazing. The gunshots timing perfectly with the music, "You're just a machine, Connor", Connor doubting himself as the guitar starts up, all the voices echoing 'lost' and 'scared', him finally turning deviant, the I AM ALIVE, ending perfectly at the coin... I have special appreciation for the fact that you included the fish, and the part where he jumps to save the little girl from Daniel and it perfectly cuts to him pulling Hank up from the rooftop. peRFECTION OH MY GOSH. I don't think I'll catch all of the intricate details even if I watch it fifty times. This is so amazing, it so perfectly represents Connor's inner turmoil.. I love this.

The first (and only) time I've ever played this game, I didn't even know there was a deviant path, so I ended up going the machine path and getting the worst ending.
I should really do another playthrough of this game though. It's been 2 years.
How could you not know that there's a deviant path? There's literally a choice between staying a machine and becoming deviant when Connor talks to Markus (or North) in the captain's cabin in Crossroads.

If u do shit shooting the Traci not saving hank when he was falling from that building say disrespectful and cold things and shoot the chloe in Kamski's place the game will basically say so apperantly u dont wanna go deviant and get the best ending so they lock the option u need to do the opposite of all those things I just said to go deviant

@@realez705 You can save Hank, shot the traci, and not shoot chloe and you'd still get Deviant as an option. You just have to maintain the instability as high as possible

P.S извиняюсь , небольшая неточность. На это не влияет ваши отношения с Хэнком , и момент где именно убивает девиант это когда вы вычисляете его среди других андроидов и он вырывает один из биокомпонентов

I love how in the beginning of the game Connor acts like a machine “you can’t kill me I’m not alive.” But as his software instability increases he becomes more and more human. “I AM ALIVE.” Bryan Dechart was so good as Connor, the simple nuances he bought to differentiate machine Connor from deviant Connor. Machine Connor is more arrogant and his facial expressions are mundane. “I always accomplish my mission.” But deviant Connor’s facial expressions are softer and his voice is more vulnerable “it wasn’t really me.” Also kudos to the facial animation team who translated his mocap performance in game.

монтаж - просто великолепие, моменты с «i was so scared» и «it’s time to decide» просто до дрожи пробирают, боже!! и музыка подобрана в самую точку. мне кажется, это самый лучший гмв по детройту на моей памяти, действительно лучший. снимаю шляпу👏👏
