  • Let's start a new week with this powerful chant, surrendering to the Divine. I'm going to be a bit controversial and suggest to replace the word "Guru" with the word "Self" - because we are surrendering to our Divine "Self", often forgotten and often ignored. It's a sad fact that most people don't see their own beauty or potential. Knowing yourself is a vital part of achieving happiness. Facing the good, the bad and the ugly inside of you, is the only way to self improvement, wisdom and ultimate self-love.
So let's embrace the "DIVINE" essence within us, let's focus on creating and rising spiritually.
The GuruDeva Sharanam chant is a sacred invocation that holds deep significance in Hindu spirituality.
"GuruDeva Sharanam" translates to "I surrender to the Guru, to the Divine."
This chant serves as a powerful mantra, expressing reverence and surrender to the spiritual teacher or Guru, who is seen as the embodiment of divine wisdom and guidance.
By reciting this chant, devotees seek the blessings of the Guru to lead them on the path of enlightenment and liberation. It is believed that through surrendering to the Guru, one can transcend the limitations of the ego and connect with the divine consciousness within.
The GuruDeva Sharanam chant is often recited during spiritual practices, meditation, or as part of devotional rituals, invoking a sense of devotion, humility, and spiritual alignment with the divine.
