There's plenty of people that think it was a close fight I actually thought Tyson had absolutely no chance against usyk but I put my dislike of Tyson to one side there were lot's of close rounds and although I don't like Tyson's behaviour of late I don't like all the hate Tyson and other fighters get I don't think boxing fans realise how bad in can affect someone I think we as fans of boxing should ease of I mean AJ had it and it took him a long time to recover mentally 👍

I’m amazed anyone had fury winning that fight. To me it was a clear fight to score, with Usyk winning. BUT, fury was excellent and it takes two to tango. All this talk about fury on the slide…. Let’s just accept that Usyk is a generational great.
After a rewatch Fury didn't do much in round 1,2,3 as Usyk applied pressure jabbing to the body. Rounds 4567 fury found his rhythm and started to time Usyk with uppercuts and body shots. Suddenly Usyk made an adjustment and clipped fury in 8, leading to the knockdown in 9 and Usyk won the last 10,11,12.

It was a great fight and Fury definitely had moments of success and although I admire Frank’s loyalty Tyson was well beaten and so nearly knocked out by a much smaller man. Usyk’s a natural cruiser weight and he’s destroyed Antony Joshua and Tyson Fury who are considered by most as number one and two heavyweights in the world. Tyson’s behaviour shouldn’t be dismissed, it’s so personal, he’s vulgar when ranting it and comparing him to Ali is lame, it’s different times. If Frank and Tyson are looking to retire from boxing I believe Usyk’s looking for someone to carry his bags. Eat your words Tyson. The much more deserving, honourable, respectful, professional, humble, sincere, decent and better man won.

Tyson is a big character and at times funny and entertaining but he can also be an obnoxious disrespectful nasty idiot. I was one of Tyson’s biggest fans and was so happy for him destroying Wilder and becoming champion again, I thought now we’re going to finally see Tyson clean up and dominate the heavyweight division. What did we get, Chisora, Whyte, an announced retirement, an announced return to fight Ngannou an MMA fighter who gave Fury his toughest fight at that point in his career. We finally get him in the ring with a worthy opponent which was all down to Saudi money and he came up short after mocking Joshua for losing to Usyk. For me Tyson’s a great talent and fighter but he’s been a poor champion. Will boxing be poorer without Tyson, out of the ring definitely but it’s in the ring I want entertainment and Tyson in his prime failed to deliver that.

If you watch Fury’s pre-fight press conference in Morecambe he said if ‘he beat Usyk his plan was to give up all but one of the belts (WBC no doubt)’. He would’ve ensured that there was little left for Usyk to fight for in the rematch. If Fury won I very much doubt we’d be getting the rematch in October either, if at all. I wish Usyk would drop down to light-heavyweight & try for 3 weight undisputed. He should tell Fury to stick his rematch or at the very least insist upon a 70/30

After what we witnessed against Ngannou Tyson pulled off a brilliant performance against Usyk. And what heart and resilience to come out well in the 10th after the 9th. For sure, Usyk won, but respect where respect is due. Both men were great. It was quality.

Franks fierce loyalty to Tyson comes from a place beyond his wallet ; this is the first interview thats convinced me. Stuff about the courage of these guys in particular and his vitriol towards some of the journos....I think he deserves credit for that and for remaining passionate about his sport into his 70s.
Aside from the Fury haters, boxing fans want to see the very best Fury against the best Usyk. Usyk is always 100% prepared physically and mentally, and delivers his plan 100%. Fury is nowhere near 100% in his mind, and has started to make dangerous, basic mistakes in the ring. What was his plan? Knockout, Kronk style, or box and move as John Fury was advising? If Fury can prepare and deliver 100% he can beat Usyk, but it's a big if.
His ego probably got too big since the Wilder and Whyte annihilations, he's always trying to be extra flashy now, and a brawler. I''m not sure he would be willing to take a big step back and fight in his old more boring style. But I think that's the only way he could beat Usyk tbh, there's almost no room for the Fury showmanship against that guy

I'm not from England or the Ukraine, I'm a neutral. Anyone saying that Usyk hammered, destroyed etc. Fury, must have watched one guy through bias or just watched the round 9 highlights. I thought Fury was in control and imposing himself more and more until Usyk caught him. Fury was hurting Usyk to the body and was landing hard shots with the back hand uppercuts. Usyk did turn it around and I thought he nicked it due to the 10-8 round, but I wasn't sure who was going to get it at the end, the commentary was shocking too, I think it really did influence people. Great fight, correct winner, very close though.

I agree. I Usyk winning by a point or three depending on whether the bout was six rounds a piece or seven-five to the Ukranian, and including the 10-8 round. Lots of the comments on the internet on the fight seem to be made by people who have grown tired of Fury's antics, or are just bitter. It is a pity that people who love boxing don't take up more comment space on these videos. It is an easy trap to fall into, but social media is a cesspit.

I was very firmly in the Usyk camp beforehand and scored it 115-112 on the night ; I just watched it back though and made it 114-113....it was certainly close and more than anything else credit should be given to both fighters for their courage and grit. Yes Furys a prick but he's also got huge balls and it was a privilege to watch the 2 of them go at it for 12.

I was ringside thats bullshit. I was behind Joshua Garcia and Ronaldo. They were all saying draw or Tyson nicks it. Then after Joshua came out with he knew Usyk had it. By the way I am a fan of Joshua to and have his genuine signed glove from about 6 years ago.

@@marcust123 OK then I'll get my eyes tested because they didn't see everyone ringside thinking Fury won. It was a reasonably close fight but the amount of punches that landed on the gloves that people seem to think actually landed is not a negligible amount. At one point Fury throws 4 punches that are all blocked and showboats after it. Usyk lifts both gloves and shakes them to say they all hit the gloves.

Or wait for other people's reactions to form your own opinion? The bigger shots where from Usyk until 4 5 and 6 which Fury won easily but then after 6 you'd need to be biased to give Fury a round confidently where as Usyk had the bigger moments and the bigger shots early and later if the fight played out the way around Fury fans would be calling it an easy night - bottom line is Fury lost quite comfortably and let's hope we see a Rematch and see if Fury can come back or if Usyk can finish him this time
