Played the game since I was 8, roughly 10 years ago now, one of the best games I ever had the pleasure of playing, even when I was 17 I enjoyed the game, I especially loved the planes, and my best memory of it was clearing out a point near ridge on Guadalcanal with melee only.
Still come back to this track all these years later. It's just so grand and soaring, none of the others have quite captured the essence of Battlefield like this one. BFV's Pacific theme was nice, at least.

I will always love this theme more than the others. It starts of aggressive and loud, like you're going to war and kick ass. As the music progresses, it slowly transitions into melodic strings. Not too quiet or too loud, it's just right.

Storming the beaches of Iwo Jima while planes strafe you, with your buddies running alongside you, machine gun fire from the bunkers ripping up the ground next to you... among the most epic moments in any video game ever. And it's an experience you make yourself.
While I don’t have anyone who played this game with me playing with randoms is amazing you have those enemy planes strafing you from above and when you make it to the beach machine gun fire erupts in front of you and while you desperately try to take cover one of your Allies fly in and provide cover

He used to lay with my old dog and play for an hour before my mom got home from work, and we've been playing it ever since I figured out it was getting shut down. I wished I played it more to reach max rank, but I guess rank 34 will do.
What is fun is that CoD only exists because infinity ward wanted to kill moh with it! They did it! With incredible WW2 cods (1-3) and a stunning CoD MW then WaW came and used the exact same engine then MW2 that wasn't a masterpiece Blops with was a wonder then MW3 wicht well was the last True CoD and now it is very fucked by Activision greediness and will be missed by true CoD veterans just like MoH veterans did with their games BattleField sadly is going in the same way

As a Japanese, I feel the despair of Japan in 1943 at 2:19 in this music. Although Japan fought a deadly battle with the United States in 1942, Japan was unable to reach a peace treaty and had to face the reality of the mass deployment of new American aircraft and ships. Even though it is a dead rubber where it is certain that Japan will lose, 1943 feels more tragic than 1944 or 1945, when defeat is realistically approaching, because we do not know when the war will end.
Rest in peace, Battlefield 1943, you damned legend! This is one game from my teenage years I’ll never be able to play again. I remember this, the OG Demon’s Souls, MK9, Rayman Origins & CoD BO3 Online-Only being my go-to on PS3. A pity only 2 of them have managed to survive the test of time & move to other platforms (Demon’s Souls having a remake 3 years earlier & Rayman Origins put on different platforms).

This was the game that got me into Battlfield. I had just bought my ps3 and I downloaded a free demo of this game on psn. The demo allowed you to play 2 rounds. And those 2 rounds were the most fun I ever had in a video game. I bought the game the instant the demo was over, and played it for months and months until Battlefield 3 came out. If it wasn't for this game I would have never gotten into such an amazing franchise! And of course, this game has the best theme song in the franchise imo.

Rest in peace, Battlefield 1943, you damned legend! This is one game from my teenage years I’ll never be able to play again. I remember this, the OG Demon’s Souls, MK9, Rayman Origins & CoD BO3 Online-Only being my go-to on PS3. A pity only 2 of them have managed to survive the test of time & move to other platforms (Demon’s Souls having a remake 3 years earlier & Rayman Origins put on different platforms).

You really should they are the best shooter games. Battlefield 2, Bad company 2, 1943 etc also the early CoDs are amazing too i really like the original CoD and CoD 5 its a shame these companies have to stray away from these amazing classic games.

Bf5s wake island did a better job at remaking this than Bf2042
I've always seen ww2 games as tributes to all of the soldiers who died giving their lives for us today and a epic theme song like this suits that perfectly

This was the game that got me into Battlfield.
I had just bought my ps3 and I downloaded a free demo of this game on psn.
The demo allowed you to play 2 rounds. And those 2 rounds were the most fun I ever had in a video game. I bought the game the instant the demo was over, and played it for months and months until Battlefield 3 came out.
If it wasn't for this game I would have never gotten into such an amazing franchise!
And of course, this game has the best theme song in the franchise imo.

Same here. Simply the best battlefield theme , followed by battlefield bad company theme.
This is how I was introduced to battlefield and I'm not disappointed.
I always loved the soaring feel these themes had.
