- In this episode we check out the bounty hole competition at Trucks Gone Wild's Louisiana Mudfest in Colfax, Louisiana. This bounty hole is no joke and the mud is insane. Quite a change from what we typically see around Florida. This stuff is like peanut butter it's so gummy and sticky!

They're gettin so stupid with these bounty hole comps. Thwy make it so bad bad that its not entertaining, when no one full pulls and it comes down to feet, thats just not entertaining to me. And dont get me started on iron horse, with the hills or jumps, or whatever it is. Just my opinion though. Keep killin it.

I’m watching this right now and it always seems that the front axle gets buried in the mud and they can’t go nowhere’s bothering that. It’s freaking awesome.
I'm sure it's not legal but a powered paddle wheel or auger in front of the axles would allow many more to get through.

You don’t just slowly dip your toes into a mudhole. You can only hit it with as much speed as you can and just try to keep it floating on top as long as you can until the axles start digging in cause they you’re done. And once you’ve stopped moving you’re not gonna get moving again so sitting there spinning is only cooking your trans.
I don’t know man. I’m not an expert by any means and i’ve only had the experience with my truck to compare it to. But for one it’s rowdy just flyin into a hole that you don’t know how the truck will react to. Some of that stuff, if you hit it wrong it’ll make you respect it by what it does to ya lol. And i’ve seen it where trucks will sit there just spinning their tires and outta no where it gains momentum again and keeps moving. Just when you think it’s complete stuck they’ll find some kinda traction. But i do see your point.
