Was lucky enough to visit Spirit Bear Lodge a few years ago and it still ranks as one of my all-time memorable experiences. Awesome landscape, fantastic people.

It's truly magical, and hope that I can make the visit very soon! I love how she mentioned the respect for not only the bears, and wildlife, but the trees, ocean, and everything else. That is exactly how I live my life every single day, in the middle of Los Angeles... If I bump into a leaf, or step on something accidentally, I always apologize, and say a prayer if it was harmed, although I'm extremely cautious, and constantly aware of my surroundings. Just last night, I saved a slug from the pathway, to avoid being stepped on, as so many of his snail cousins are around here, by others. If you don't have respect for our universe, our planet, and everything on it, then how can anyone really say they have respect? It's all apart of your soul, and where you come from. Maybe the best you can do then, is not go on that trip. Each visit to the bear lodge has an impact on wildlife. Leaving wildlife alone (and not taking planes) is the best way to be respectful of nature... :(

@@ykMMD Lol Well I do still want to go outside, and experience life. Since I've only been on a plane about 5 times in my 50 years, I think I've done my part, and I'll be just fine, and so will the wildlife. I think the only type of person that would even go to a place like this, is someone who appreciates, and respects the environment.

I can highly recommend King Pacific Lodge at Barnard Harbour on Princess Royal Island as a base for the rare sightings of the beautiful Spirit Bears
