I used to work at a att call center, I was miserable and I hated having to go to work there. It was just a job for me and I needed one. There is nothing rewarding about answering hundreds of calls from angry customers. I worked for the retention call center in houston. Never again!!!!

Call centers are a difficult place to work. I've worked in several when I was laid off from an airline job. Or when I needed a part-time job. Some employees have worked in them for years. These people giving the interviews were probably outside consultants or officers who either never spent a day on the phones at all or haven’t held a call center position in over a decade.
What they don’t tell you is that you’ll be working second or third shifts, weekends and holidays, will never see your family or friends again because you are chained to your desk at all times, are under immense pressure, dealing with rude and angry customers who can’t do basic math or browser navigation, and are threatened with constant discipline and/or termination if you can’t meet the impossibly high metrics.
NEVER take a call Center job unless you are in 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 dire straits and have absolutely no other option. And even then, you should be looking for an exit as quickly as possibly the second you set foot in that training room.

So I just finished training with Loyalty this week. While I will say that it’s not a good fit for everybody, if you have a certain mindset about yourself it’s tolerable considering you don’t need a degree for this position. The training was intense and there are super sweet as well as difficult customers. What you put into it is what you will get out of it. It helps if you are a naturally empathetic person and can keep your cool under pressure. For me it’s not as bad as I was expecting based on these comments. Yes things could be better in a lot of ways but on the flip side you do have the opportunity to make some good money with the commission scale.

Best client so far when it comes to incentives. At&t is the best! Don't be Hippocratic to say that its a hard job, because basically you're just going to sit there and answer questions and do something in your end, as easy as that. There's no easy job let me remind you all. Even the richest person in the world is still stressed on thinking what are the things he can do to make him even more successful 🤣🤣🤣.
Working in call center needs only one thing: "EMPATHY" if you don't have it then find other job.
EMPATHY is like saying "I Love You" to your love one's. Now, if you are a hard-hearted person then this is not a job for you.

Customer service is not a game or a battle plan. You just have to help one person at a time. You need the ability to help the problem. Otherwise you are an order taker. Imagine the money AT&T could make if they didn't roll there eyes at you when you walk in a store looking for help after talking to a phone person who said don't worry the store will help you, or say they can't help you on the phone and leave you on hold while they high five. Awful feelings after giving what they take. Computers are killing CSR help. Get better soon

You would work in Alorica. I went there and I had an appointment at ten, but 10:22 AM I was there and nobody told me anything. I went to the secretary, and she told me that in 5 minutes they were going to come a get me, but it past ten minutes and I did not receive any information. The place is a mess. There were like 20 people there applying just like me with an appointment and they said nothing. This is in Cutler Bay, Florida. So go and read about Alorica before entering here to work, and if you like it go for it.
