I did all 30 without spending a single stub, all exchange players were from free packs from programs, conquests, and showdowns. Only problem it takes forever to exchange them. I think I spent more time exchanging player and less time opening packs.

Literally made just over a million stubs from selling my golds and some diamonds, along with 8 seager I bought, and 20 buehler (when he was gold). All I did was play the game and had tons of stuff to sell. As a nms, I now have just over 1.2 mil and one collection from Trout!
(Edit): I also picked up 97 Chapman for 37k and will probably get Hornsby and Ryan, at least for a few games. 25k is too cheap for those cards!

You need to spin a wheel for each position and on that wheel is a different stub amount and you can only use card that are worth that much or less on the market. I call it *Market Madness" lol

I started with only 120k stubs when everything dropped. I'm about to hit 1.5 million and I haven't sold any of the main finest cards from the affinity. Collected all the ones from the finest pack. Pulled all the rare rounds from all the packs and have so many cards to sell still. This game > Any other sports game. Not even close.
