Castlefield Viaduct - An Industrial Monument Brought Back to Life

Castlefield Viaduct celebrated its first birthday under the care of the National Trust in July 2023, but its history goes back much further than that. The Viaduct sits on an historical Roman site, and since its construction in 1893 it has connected people to green spaces and places they could visit beyond the confines of Manchester.
