Watch out BUNDY this feller is coming for ya,,,,can’t beat an organised van 👍👍👍
Oh I’m coming 😂🤣
One thing that really helped us was having an additional sliding door on the driver side when specced new on lease. It allows parking in tight places with the left side up against a wall/fence/hedge
I think that price is pretty good. As it’s your work space and need to be more efficient. To save time for all your jobs. Good organisation.
Thank you, yes I agree on all points 👍
One for the boss in the morning 🙏
I have my vans fitted with Marine plywood walls, ceiling and floor including the doors and bulkhead. And lighting is so important. Definitely to have a separate battery system for the main van battery. Specially if you’re going to keep doors open and lights in for a longer period.
I also included work lights in the outside of the van side door and back door areas.
Yeah I always have my van doors open which is causing problems with the main battery, good to hear I’m not alone with this!! Thanks for your comments!! 👍👍
Beautiful setup. Looking real spiffy. Good job!
Thank you 👍👍
Good stuff Adam
Looks brilliant and efficient, great job 🛠️💡
Thank you 👍👍
I used LED (kitchen reel) strip lighting to brighten up the interior, cut strips to length under all the shelves and a few lengths across the roof, connected in parallel with switch, work’s very well wouldn’t bother trying any other way for myself. I installed a blade 12v fuse board in the glove box to power the LED’s and other auxiliaries, powered direct from the battery. Probably spent £20.
Loving the new wracking, job well done! You cant beat a well wracked out van.
Thank you mate 👍👍
Been waiting for this. Great video.
Thank you 👍
Quite a few camper conversions are putting solar on the roof, you can get flexible panels or plastic corner mounts, not sure how much the rails or ladders would block the light though. Van looks good!
That’s cool I will look into that! Thank you 👍👍
I would love to carpet my custom! You made it look so easy ! Great job 👏🏻
Thank you! You should do it!! 👍👍
Some nice touches buddy! Jet rack looks a winner!
Thank you sir
I love being in America and having a van i can walk into
Sounds amazing 👍
I really love how indebted you go to in your videos, you’ve done a great job with this van, I have a transit long wheel base also, I recently went self employed and unfortuanly had my van broken into and all of my Milwaukee PowerTools and battery’s stolen so I love what you have done with the van guard in the rear end, I’m thinking of going for a pickup truck with a back so I can have 2 van guards and a work surface while still maintaining an area for materials above to prevent this again, I feel like a pickup is less of a target for theft personally, I also watched your van security video and thought it was very insightful so that is on the cards also, thanks again for your great content
Hello mate, thank you for taking the time to comment, sorry to hear about your van, they are absolute scum bags!! Really appreciate you watching my videos!! 👍👍
Nice van I like the ford transit custom
Great video. Love the look of the van. I have a raised floor in my van as well, but not all the way through. Bit concerned that it would take out all the crumple zones, which wouldn't be good in a crash.
Looming forward to watching how you did the lights as I need to.improve mine.
Thank you, crumple zones… let’s hope I don’t need those!! I have had a lot of suggestions on the lights so coming soon I reckon!!
You can buy adapter that takes your tool batteries and can work 12-24v fittings
Great tip I will look into this!!
Awesome video 👌🏻 also You could consider using your drill batteries for the lighting in the van. You can get a base for any of the common brands saves going for solar or expensive leisure batteries 👍🏻
Thank you!! That’s a great idea! I will look into this!!
I’ve so gotta get a van…. That looks amazing mate ❤️👌👍
Miss our old one, an ex Sky fleet van, fully racked inside and out!
Working out of the boot of a car now trying to get to the point we can get a LWB Transit Connect, would love a Custom, but we do a lot of city centre work and need to be able to get in and out of tight undercroft parking areas…. 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Hello mate!! Did you get my insta message??
Thank you so much for my gift!!! Your amazing!!!
Loving the videos mate 👊 Can tell you take pride in your work
Thank you mate 👊👊
Turned out good pal 👍🏽
Thank you mate
great video, its given me some ideas on how to finish my van. as far as the new lights you want to install, I've just added lights to mine and I'm running them off a Milwaukee battery, I got the adapter of Amazon you can get any battery make, there called power wheel adapters
Thank you!! Ah that’s great I will have a look now!!
Have you thought about protecting your van from break ins? Those vans have such a design flaw and need extra protection! Just keep it in mind.
Looks fantastic! I’d love that done in my van.
Thank you! Yes my van is heavily protected with various security measures 👍👍
Looks smart. Should look at a leisure batty with a victron battery to battery charger.
Would keep the leisure battery charged without taking it in and stop main battery draining.
Interesting, I am weighing up my options
Could you link the video for the floor mats please
I would say go with a Jackery rather than a leisure battery. It means you've not just got power for the lights but also any other accessories you may need to use. A leisure battery is good, but I think a Jackery provides that extra flexibility.
I am swaying towards the jackery, appreciate your comments and input 👍👍
Good for keeping customers wifi on when working on their consumer unit@@sotaelectrical
Cracking job.
If it were my van I’d be fitting a battery and inverter.
Fogstar 105ah lithium battery.
Victron DC - DC Charger (30a ORION)
Victron 1200w Inverter.
You could use Renogy gear as it’s a little bit cheaper than the Victron and as good.
I did a similar install for my lad in his VW Caddy.
Thank you, ok that’s great ill look into all that stuff you mentioned, appreciate your input 👍👍
ok I def need to do the walls in my van like that :D
It looks really good!! I love it!!
wouldnt stick the flooring down, would make it easy to change when damaged :P
Agreed, I have not stuck it down 👍👍
Use one of your 18v batteries to power the lights when you need them
I think I’m going down this route
Heat gun usually helps with silicone.
Ahh wish I thought of that!!!
The only thing thats missing is a pull out canopy from under the roof rack. It is hard to watch when you throw that ragged cloth over the van doors when its raining.
A pull out canopy would be awesome!! I do like my canopy though 🤣
Are you ever in bh21 area?
No I’m afraid not
@@sotaelectrical Thats a shame, I understand :)
Definitely money well spent and deductible. Maybe not such a viable option for the cash in hand only guy which you might not want to hire anyways.
Mate.....no good putting the contents of your van all over the internet....too many thieving scumbags about
maybe alarm system as well in the near future. possibly next finanical year!
Hell Yes. Does that look smart and organised, if you want I'll pick up your installs while you vacuum the carpets 🙂
Thank you 🤣
