- Wow,wow,wow, what a Turkey Rod Run. It's stunning every year the size of this event. There had to be close to 5000 cars just in the car coral, never mind the thousands of cars in the show area. It would take more than one day, just to do the swap meet. The next video will be at the night time bash at the Daytona 1 parking lot. Again I have to apologize for the sound, they were playing pretty loud music all weekend, and you know about the copyright issue.

I'm watching these out of order. I saw your video from Streetside Classics (which was posted *after* the Turkey Rod Run) and read many comments that freaked out over the prices that were being asked. Then I watch this and listen to you tick off the asking prices (which, to me, seemed just as high as those at Streetside)...and barely a whimper in the comments. Maybe everyone was numbed by the time the TRR was held! :-)
Great footage again, definitely looks like a long day...I'm a little tired watching you walking around.

I was thinking if Joan had a Scooter to drive and you could connect a small trailer to it . Awesome work as always Billy, not sure if anyone told you but towards the end of this video and the "Daytona 1" video you started have some popping noises most likely caused from your mic setup, started around the 1:10 mark in this video, thanks again! On my bucket list to do, but like you say its mind boggling the amount of cars, WOW

For those prices you could buy a brnad new car and have it be utterly reliable..out here in norcal you get bout half of that price for pretty much same type of car..wonder what people are thinking..love your videos by the way there awesome
I really believe that some of the people selling cars at unrealistic high prices just want to have a reserved spot for the weekend, and they might get lucky and somebody buys it.

We take the truck on long trips, because it has more storage. Spike’s stuff takes up most of the room, LOL. We alternate which car we take to Florida. Last year it was the 33 Ford, so this year it’s the truck.

I would recommend the November Turkey Rod Run. I’m guessing there’s maybe 2 to 3 thousand cars for sale. Mecum Auction in Kissimmee in January has 3500 + cars for sale. It’s the biggest specialty car auction in the world.

They advertise over 6,000. But I believe it’s a lot more than that. I would guess around 10,000.

I have been going for 20+ years and never seen the strip not crowded with rods.
Missed the TR. Wife got the Flu. But there are plenty more.
I hope she feels better soon. I had the Florida flu last year.
So what if you said ta hell with the mic thing...what would they charge you to just record it all and play the music that they are accusing you of 'stealing'. Is it a lot? I see everyone else that does videos plays whatever gets recorded, or haven't they been busted yet. Great video as always !!

I can add canned copyright free music, but it’s like elevated music or monotonous pounding music. If you look at the header video of my truck going down the road, that is copyright free music that I added. I don’t think you’d like an hour of that.

I’ve been using GoPro Hero Black cameras. I’ve gone with the 4, 5, 7, and now the 9. Fantastic cameras for stability and clarity.
