OpenFace face recognition API Installation prerequisites pip packages Setup 1

How to install pip for python and all the related packages that you have to download via pip,to make sure OpenFace work properly
Freely available at github.com/cmusatyalab/openface
Original Google CVPR 2015 FaceNet paper: www.cv-foundation.org/openacce...
Commands For installing PIP
1 $ sudo apt-get install python-setuptools python-dev build- essential
2 $ sudo easy_install pip
3 $ sudo pip install --upgrade virtualenv
To Install Packages via PIP
1 $ sudo pip install numpy
2 $ sudo pip install cython
3 $ sudo pip install scipy
4 $ sudo pip install scikit-learn
5 $ sudo pip install scikit-image
6 $ sudo pip install pandas
At the End type the following command to check that all your packages are listed
$ pip list

Again great tutorial. A heads up for the first command, in the video description there is a space between "build- " and "essential" that shouldnt be there. The correct command is sudo apt-get install python-setuptools python-dev build-essential

Hi. Have you typed "build essential" instead of "build-essential"?
