Just giving my testimony. Im 5'8 250 pounds and I smoke an ounce a month for the past 6 years. Just flower(2-3g joints) no edibles. I recently stopped due to surgery and was clean for 37 days. Because i was out for over 30 days my job required I take another physical and drug test(lab urine) to return to work. I took both home test and lab test on the same day. The home test was very VERY faint. So faint that you can only see it up close. But like the test says, a ghost line is still passing. 4 days later my lab test came back negative so I was able to return to work. So if you're concerned about lab test results, as long as it shows negative on the home test, there's a 99% chance of passing the lab test. No i didn't detox or drink a gallon of water a day nor drink cranberry juice. Hopefully this will lower some people's anxiety. Good luck everybody
Thanks for sharing the "very VERY faint" line concern. I just did an at home test earlier this week and the line was pretty faint. I did another at home test today and the line was indeed very VERY faint. You testimony has lowered my anxiety and I appreciate that.
I just had a faint line show & they considered it a positive?!?! Now they're sending another sample to lab now, being as that 1 should have been considered negative, the lab result should come back negative, correct? From what I can't read the kimit for instants & lab on opiates is 40ng/mL...any input would be appreciated
I can confirm after taking about 30 or so tests from several different brands and sensitivity level that a faint line can be indicative of thc still being in your system. I used 50ngml and 15ngml and as time went on and only testing with first morning urine that my test lines went from very faint negatives to very dark negative lines over the span of a few weeks. That test line being about as close to the control line is what you want to look for to make sure you're good to pass a lab test.
I use Ütest testing strips and I get faint lines on both the 50ng and the 15ng test and what I was told by their customer service is that when your testing for 15ng the test is so sensitive that you will get more faint lines than solid lines. But they assured me that the faint lines are indeed negative tests!

@@pimpmac4993yes it is sad. The whole point of these drug tests is to see if you’re impaired at work, it’s a breach of privacy for a company to know what you do on your own time off. The fact that these test can trace marijuana back 30+days is essentially a breach of privacy. Especially if you live in Canada where weed is legal for RECREATIONAL use. I know for a 100% certainty the reason why they won’t change the rules regarding it is because if someone were to injure themselves at work they can just make them do the test, if they fail the drug test then they will not be able to receive workers compensation. Like seriously how can you say someone is impaired if this stays in your system for 30+ days? You’re not impaired that long from the last use, quit being a miserable troll.
So I'm in pharmacy school and they want me to pass a 10-panel urine test in April for a hospital internship in July. So if I pass my drug test in April, I can smoke weed up until my rotation and be okay. Makes zero sense. Due to the half-lives of different drugs, I can do as many opioids and benzos as I want but they clear out of your body in just a few days, so they're really only testing me for pot, which is legal in my state.
I stopped on April 30, 2024. Upcoming test, I think, on May 28, 2024. (A day bf my b'day.) I home tested yesterday just to see where I was at. Of course, pissed dirty. I am really depressed, major withdrawal. No kidding. I will keep home testing. (Chronic, heavy). I will keep you all apprised of my progress. Thnx again for your advice, Dr. Nuesse. I was able to pass for negative after quitting for just over 3 weeks. I am 170lbs, 5'8", and 28 years old. I was smoking roughly 2-3 times a day for almost 10 years. I'm honestly shocked.
I’m guessing you’re active since you’re more or less my height and build and I did the same thing. Smoked around the same amount 3 weeks before a test and passed. I’m guessing you work out and are overall pretty healthy
@@esteban8183 I think it's just about drinking lots of fluids and eating well. Higher metabolism gets it out quicker it seems. Did my drug test yesterday so we'll see if it paid off.
For a DOT test cdl driver, I’m seeing 50ng/m cutoff minimum required for preliminary, 15ng/ml on confirmatory. Can a faint line on a 50 prelim trigger a confirmatory? Or do CDLs go to confirmatory regardless? Pretty sure my location doesn’t do confirmatory on site. Unsure what cutoff they use for prelim. What does your company use?
Does not matter as long as you have two lines one being (faint ) then you passed my friend just took two at home test both came out with two lines , was still nervous so I brought my test to urgent care and the doctor said looking at the at home test I passed but still wanted to feel comfortable so I took a drug test at urgent care passed that one as well so I’m 3 for 3 . My job test is tomorrow wish me luck to see what happens.
How faint is a faint line? I got a line that I can barely see, doesn't even look red but it looks like a shade at the 15ng/mL. The 50ng/mL is clear. Got tested four days after this but my company sent the samples straight to a lab (to avoid false positives apparently). I'm unsure if the lab would test at 15ng/mL right away or if it's 50 the cut off and since I'm under it won't get tested at 15 at all... Any thoughts?
Just took a home drug test two days ago (Monday) and I had a faint second line. It’s Wednesday morning and I have to take a drug test on Friday. For me, I had stopped smoking (vaping) marijuana 10 days prior, and I smoke everyday. I began detoxing, I exercise regularly 5-6 days a week, very low body fat count, and I have a superb diet. Just goes to show you that there are definitely some variables as it pertains to how long THC stays in your body/system. Good luck to the rest of you..👍🏾
All you have to do is get his or some other brands 20ng or 15ng at home drug test, if you get any sort of line, then your obviously going to pass the lab 50ng

I’ve had a faint line at the clinic when I injured my hand and a hadn’t smoked weed in 4 years at that point and they called it negative right away . If they would have said I was positive I would have taken legal action against that clinic.
The lab my future employer uses uses a cut off of 15 ng/ml ☹️ But I know this and got a home test that does multiple sensitivities. 200/100/50 were two dark lines. 20 and 15 was one dark and one faint. Tested the next day and the lines were slightly darker so hoping for the best.

Likely a fail.. The control line should be obvious and at least a faint line on the T portion.. but who knows what the lab will do if the line is faint they can test the sample on a more strict confirmatory test..
I had Faint line on home test went to concentra just to be sure. I passed that test. 8 days later went for RTD test at quest and failed. What are the chances its a false positive? To this day 50 some days later from stopping im still getting faint line but still under the 50 ng/ml.

10 years ago I tested positive for methadone on what they called an "inexpensive" drug test at my pain clinic ( no pot at that time.) I have never even seen methadone, let alone taken it. So at that time, being very upset, I copied an 800 # off an expensive RiteAid home test & called. The lady read off some false pos. creating drugs, including NyQuil which I had taken a few days for a cold. Dr. explained their drug tests were inexpensive. Consequently I was vindicated. Do what I did or google your meds to see if it can result in a false positive.
referring to the example of the real world test you showed, my test line is slightly less visable than what you showed, are you saying this would mean i am barely under the 50ng/ml for thc? I've been very anxious because the past week i have had a superrrrr faint line for my thc tests in the test line and i have another week until my actual test. The way i interpret it is i am just below the 50ng/ml, would this be correct? any sort of reply would really be helpful and ease my tension

will labs send the exact ng/ml to my employer? even if its "negative", in my case, the cutoff is 50ng/ml. I have my drug test for my first Fire Department this upcoming Thursday, I havent smoked in 6 weeks. I took a test 5 days ago and tested positive, took another today and tested negative with an extremely faint line. I am worried if my department will see that my levels are 40ng/ml,for example, they might not be too happy about that.

Just take some creatine, multivitamin and Gatorade a few hours before your test. It’ll reintroduce the supplements they test for to make sure it’s not over diluted.

Here my experience,I stopped smoking about 90 days ago I took lab test around the 94th day sober and I passed!I was passing my home test too and i couldn’t say I did like 8 at home test all negative.even the day off the test I took a at home test on my first piss of the day and it was still negative but a very faint line.as you drink water and you pee more it should be more darker. So I peed like 2 times before the test on my 3rd piss was the test and it was a real light yellow almost white (my first piss was yellow yellow)so I would just take on the test on the 3rd piss like me ,make sure you drink enough for water for you can pee 2-3 times before the test.i would forsure not take the test on the first piss of the day
I took a drug test for 3 days straight, the first two had a faint line but the one i took on the third day tested positive for THC why is that? I did run before taking my third test i have no idea if that has anything to do with it
Thc is stored in fat. If you went for a run you burned the fat the thc was stored in and increased the amount of thc in your bloodstream and amount filtered by the kidneys into your urine.

Make sure to use first bladder dump of the day. First time I used these test, I had been up for 5 hours. Drank like 6 cups of coffee and had breakfast. All three test came back negative. I took 3 other test from a different brand and went 2 out of three negative. So I re -read the instructions. Woke up following morning and took 3 more Exploro's with the first bio of the day. All three popped positive. Took one of the alternatives and it too popped positive. That was day 25 if you're curious.
It builds up over night. drink a liter or 2 and pee twice then test. Also plan on the same for actual test. I smoked for 2 weeks and now have a job offer that is dot. By the time I will take the test it will have been 5 weeks(35 days) Im just at week 2 now and so long as I dink 1 liter of water and pee twice I get a faint line, Not insane faint but faint. Glad I got 3 more weeks of not smoking. @@TheNewbSauce

I took a drug test at work. Pretty sure I was going to negative with a faint. Took the test. Nobody at work said anything so i guessed it was good. Till days later i got a call from some lab in Denver. They called me by the wrong name (Gayla). It was some young chick. She said I tested positive for marijuana. I said ok. She asked I had medical care, i said no. She asked I had a substance abuse problem. I said no. I said i want to retest. She said "we can retest the sample we have for $200." I said..that makes no sense! Thats an 8 day old sample! I get to work Monday morning and was called to the nurses office. She asked if anyone called me. I said yea, and I feel like this is messed up. I explained and she was confused. She said they use a lab in Indy and a male doctor would have called. I said no. We went back and forth and i said i dont trust anyone. Retest me. But she wouldn't. So, i have no idea what's going on. Im testing negative at home with serveral different tests. Im afraid wont care this "gimme $200" thing and just call it positive. I dont even know!
Thank you again for this informative video.I had been using heavy since last November-Dec. 2023. Then, 12/13/23 I suffered a compression fracture, nerve damage, sciatica. I am in a walker til I can physical-therapy myself out of it. I attend a pain clinic monthly in Ca. & believe I might have either tested dirty or had the faint line last summer. But I didn't hear anything. I haven't been in the office for 2 mos. due to this injury. I have been going hot & heavy with loaded joints since Dec. 13. I quit 29 days ago, & my appt. in person will be in 2 days. 31 days clean. Since I have had massive out-of-pocket expenses since this injury, I bought 3 tests at the $Tree. My stoner friend of course tested pos. I wound up with the faint line. Do you have any info on pain clinics, especially in Ca.? I use hydrocodone sparingly ( which I receive at the clinic) & do not care for alcohol, but enjoy my relaxing joints. Thank you for any advice on THC in pain clinics, espsecially in Ca.
@@TheRomeoValentino Hi I am not sure if there was a faint line or not on day 29 w. home test. I got tested by pain clinic on day 31 of (really difficult!) abstinence. I tested w. a home test the next day (32nd day) and had the faint line which I believe means undetectable. (Then I lit up.) Since I did not hear anything from the pain clinic, either I passed, or on day 31, which is what I suspect happened, or since I am in Ca., thc was not tested for. So my stoner guy friend & I still don't know if thc is being tested for in this pain clinic, as last year the word thc was crossed out as "illegal" drugs, i.e. coke & heroin, on a sign there. I am afraid to ask. Anybody know where I can find out about thc testing in pain clinics in Ca.? Also, I had smoked a lot last year one particular time in August 2023 when I got a test. Nothing was said, as I had only gone 2 days w/o lighting up. So I still don't know if it is being tested for. I have been going there 11 years. I had never been tested before. You mentioned them not testing for any concentration. How about with a refusal for DOT? The instructor from the sap course I had been assigned to says that they’d be testing for 15ng. Mine have been faint. But also have had some that were dark negatives. The man says that it’s a positive and that the first sample of the morning is the one that counts. To pretty much void the other samples one tests for throughout the day since by mid day it’d pretty much be diluted. Is he wrong?
Do you really want to see how many nammograms do you have inside of you then you need to just go take a five panel and non DOT personal panel test and it'll give you the correct number if you're under 15 it'll say negative if you're above 15 then it's going to say what your levels are .
And if you're sapp representative order you to do a test and you did a a refusal then that's an automatic violation... You'll be going back through it again..
8:42 I tested positive on a rapid drug screen for PCP but I have never used PCP! I do take Lamictal. Gabapentin, Vraylar and hydroxizine for Bipolar Disorder. I also occasionally take Trazadone and last week I took OTC cough medicine and ibuprofen for a cold. I listed these medications on the questionnaire but they still had to send out the specimen to the lab. Should I be worried? This is for a new job.

I took one from the dollar two earlier this morning both showed no results (if they were bad) took one an hour ago again n It showed 2 lines, top line being darker bottom line not so dark but visible not faded thoe , what could that mean ?? Had a faint line a couple of times around week 2, but then I started fasting and it disappeared. It showed just the C line on two consecutive tests. I’m positive now that I’m losing weight. Not a heavy guy, 164lbs 5’7”. Hmmm
When you fast it breaks down the fat and puts more thc in your bloodstream. So you don't wanna fast before test. Eat more than usual and high carb so your body won't break down fat. Just what I learned on internet.
It’s anoying cause I wanna believe I’ll pass I bought 10 of those exploro homes test past every one and get a faint line. Not very faint just like faintish and it won’t get darker . People say they have failed lab drug test that had faint line on home drug test but leave out variables were you active ? How many days were you sober ? Were you truly abstinent ? Been so stressed about this
(Opinion) to the labs a weak faint line does matter because if they do a confirmatory te$t thats more money in their pocket.. In my opinion the lab owners and people that make most money on the business, should have contstant random unnanonuced test.. that will make them change their tune oba faint line..
My stoner guy friend and I share a joint (& occasional vaping) along with the joint, every night except maybe once a week. So I think it is about 1/2 a joint a day. Is this heavy use?
That hair test is bs ! Due to if someone else is using coke or worse hand sweat so if ur girl is running her hand thru ur hair during sex ! You will pop dirt ! So I had to learn the hard way my now ex was using and left her asap smh crazy but very true story and a friend had the same thing happen but with THC smoke 💨 he knew she smoked but he didn’t she had a prescription for it in the state of Maryland now it’s legal in Maryland ! BTW, I recently tested myself for covid, as I did a couple years ago when I had it. (Test was negative.) The results of positive or negative with covid seem to be the opposite of thc test.

Use Niacin, activated charcoal, fiber pills for couple weeks. Then day of testing take Niacin, charcoal and milk thistle atleast 3 hours before.

Does not matter as long as you have two lines one being (faint ) then you passed my friend just took two at home test both came out with two lines , was still nervous so I brought my test to urgent care and the doctor said looking at the at home test I passed but still wanted to feel comfortable so I took a drug test at urgent care passed that one as well so I’m 3 for 3 . My job test is tomorrow wish me luck to see what happens.

How faint is a faint line? I got a line that I can barely see, doesn't even look red but it looks like a shade at the 15ng/mL. The 50ng/mL is clear. Got tested four days after this but my company sent the samples straight to a lab (to avoid false positives apparently). I'm unsure if the lab would test at 15ng/mL right away or if it's 50 the cut off and since I'm under it won't get tested at 15 at all... Any thoughts?
Just took a home drug test two days ago (Monday) and I had a faint second line. It’s Wednesday morning and I have to take a drug test on Friday. For me, I had stopped smoking (vaping) marijuana 10 days prior, and I smoke everyday. I began detoxing, I exercise regularly 5-6 days a week, very low body fat count, and I have a superb diet. I’ve had a faint line at the clinic when I injured my hand and a hadn’t smoked weed in 4 years at that point and they called it negative right away . If they would have said I was positive I would have taken legal action against that clinic.
How faint is too faint? I took my first one and the T line was barely visible, like you gotta squint and look up close to see the line at all.

But I know this and got a home test that does multiple sensitivities. 200/100/50 were two dark lines. 20 and 15 was one dark and one faint. Tested the next day and the lines were slightly darker so hoping for the best.

Likely a fail.. The control line should be obvious and at least a faint line on the T portion.. but who knows what the lab will do if the line is faint they can test the sample on a more strict confirmatory test..
I had Faint line on home test went to concentra just to be sure. I passed that test. 8 days later went for RTD test at quest and failed. What are the chances its a false positive? To this day 50 some days later from stopping im still getting faint line but still under the 50 ng/ml.

10 years ago I tested positive for methadone on what they called an "inexpensive" drug test at my pain clinic ( no pot at that time.) I have never even seen methadone, let alone taken it. So at that time, being very upset, I copied an 800 # off an expensive RiteAid home test & called. The lady read off some false pos. creating drugs, including NyQuil which I had taken a few days for a cold. Dr. explained their drug tests were inexpensive. Consequently I was vindicated. Do what I did or google your meds to see if it can result in a false positive.
referring to the example of the real world test you showed, my test line is slightly less visable than what you showed, are you saying this would mean i am barely under the 50ng/ml for thc? will labs send the exact ng/ml to my employer? even if its "negative", in my case, the cutoff is 50ng/ml. I have my drug test for my first Fire Department this upcoming Thursday, I havent smoked in 6 weeks. I took a test 5 days ago and tested positive, took another today and tested negative with an extremely faint line. Just take some creatine, multivitamin and Gatorade a few hours before your test. It’ll reintroduce the supplements they test for to make sure it’s not over diluted.
To be safe than sorry take a 12 hr detox/masker in my opinion to be 100 % sure that you will pass drug test

The second line on the T is extremely faint . You have to get very close to the see it. In 3 days I make 8 weeks thc clean.
Labcorps website says it tests at 5.0 ng/ml. Is this true? If so is there any test out there to detect this low of level?

Here my experience,I stopped smoking about 90 days ago I took lab test around the 94th day sober and I passed!I was passing my home test too and i couldn’t say I did like 8 at home test all negative.even the day off the test I took a at home test on my first piss of the day and it was still negative but a very faint line.as you drink water and you pee more it should be more darker. So I peed like 2 times before the test on my 3rd piss was the test and it was a real light yellow almost white (my first piss was yellow yellow)so I would just take on the test on the 3rd piss like me ,make sure you drink enough for water for you can pee 2-3 times before the test.i would forsure not take the test on the first piss of the day

Thc is stored in fat. If you went for a run you burned the fat the thc was stored in and increased the amount of thc in your bloodstream and amount filtered by the kidneys into your urine.

That isn't crazy at all for THC
Make sure to use first bladder dump of the day. First time I used these test, I had been up for 5 hours. Drank like 6 cups of coffee and had breakfast. All three test came back negative. I took 3 other test from a different brand and went 2 out of three negative. So I re -read the instructions. Woke up following morning and took 3 more Exploro's with the first bio of the day. All three popped positive. Took one of the alternatives and it too popped positive. That was day 25 if you're curious.
It builds up over night. drink a liter or 2 and pee twice then test. Also plan on the same for actual test. I smoked for 2 weeks and now have a job offer that is dot. By the time I will take the test it will have been 5 weeks(35 days) Im just at week 2 now and so long as I dink 1 liter of water and pee twice I get a faint line, Not insane faint but faint. Glad I got 3 more weeks of not smoking. @@TheNewbSauce

I took a drug test at work. Pretty sure I was going to negative with a faint. Took the test. Nobody at work said anything so i guessed it was good. Till days later i got a call from some lab in Denver. They called me by the wrong name (Gayla). It was some young chick. She said I tested positive for marijuana. I said ok. She asked I had medical care, i said no. She asked I had a substance abuse problem. I said no. I said i want to retest. She said "we can retest the sample we have for $200."
I said..that makes no sense!

Thank you again for this informative video.I had been using heavy since last November-Dec. 2023. Then, 12/13/23 I suffered a compression fracture, nerve damage, sciatica. I am in a walker til I can physical-therapy myself out of it. I attend a pain clinic monthly in Ca. & believe I might have either tested dirty or had the faint line last summer. But I didn't hear anything. I haven't been in the office for 2 mos. due to this injury. I have been going hot & heavy with loaded joints since Dec. 13. I quit 29 days ago, & my appt. in person will be in 2 days. 31 days clean. Since I have had massive out-of-pocket expenses since this injury, I bought 3 tests at the $Tree. My stoner friend of course tested pos. I wound up with the faint line. Do you have any info on pain clinics, especially in Ca.? I use hydrocodone sparingly ( which I receive at the clinic) & do not care for alcohol, but enjoy my relaxing joints. Thank you for any advice on THC in pain clinics, espsecially in Ca.

I tested w. a home test the next day (32nd day) and had the faint line which I believe means undetectable. (Then I lit up.) Since I did not hear anything from the pain clinic, either I passed, or on day 31, which is what I suspect happened, or since I am in Ca., thc was not tested for. So my stoner guy friend & I still don't know if thc is being tested for in this pain clinic, as last year the word thc was crossed out as "illegal" drugs, i.e. coke & heroin, on a sign there. I am afraid to ask. Anybody know where I can find out about thc testing in pain clinics in Ca.? Also, I had smoked a lot last year one particular time in August 2023 when I got a test. Nothing was said, as I had only gone 2 days w/o lighting up. So I still don't know if it is being tested for. I have been going there 11 years. I had never been tested before. The dr. there said I "didn't look like the type" to use "illegal" drugs, which I am not, except for thc. But I was not using it (thc) at the time.

You mentioned them not testing for any concentration. How about with a refusal for DOT? The instructor from the sap course I had been assigned to says that they’d be testing for 15ng. Mine have been faint. But also have had some that were dark negatives. The man says that it’s a positive and that the first sample of the morning is the one that counts. To pretty much void the other samples one tests for throughout the day since by mid day it’d pretty much be diluted. Is he wrong?
Do you really want to see how many nammograms do you have inside of you then you need to just go take a five panel and non DOT personal panel test and it'll give you the correct number if you're under 15 it'll say negative if you're above 15 then it's going to say what your levels are .
And if you're sapp representative order you to do a test and you did a a refusal then that's an automatic violation... You'll be going back through it again..

When you fast it breaks down the fat and puts more thc in your bloodstream. So you don't wanna fast before test. Eat more than usual and high carb so your body won't break down fat. Just what I learned on internet.

BTW, I recently tested myself for covid, as I did a couple years ago when I had it. (Test was negative.) The results of positive or negative with covid seem to be the opposite of thc test.
