    Thanks Sana Muema. I have watched most of your videos on these construction projects and they're all appealing. You are doing an AMAZING JOB. My heart goes to the precast panels ABT. The only worry I have is about stability/durability of the house. Is the plastering at the base, with or without the steel C beams enough to sustain the wall errect? And secondly,Can I use precast concrete panels to build a maisonnette? Kindly respond.

    • @PropertyNoma
      @PropertyNoma  Před 2 lety +1

      1.The plastering and how the panels interlock both increase the stability of the walls. Once the plaster hardens, it becomes concrete.
      2. Yes. I have a video of a maisonette house that is built using precast panels on my channel. You can watch it when you can.

    • @PropertyNoma
      @PropertyNoma  Před rokem

      Thickness is 90mm. There's a specialised precast panel machine that does the compression of the concrete. It creates the hollow sections in the process.

    • @NETBU
      @NETBU Před rokem

      the use of hollow process is to reduce overall weight of the pre cast...different grade precast will come in different sized hollow form depending on the weight they'll carry if they are acting as structural element for live and imposed loads

      Depends on the level of finishing you want to achieve with your house. If you’re going to plaster your walls, then precast panels are more affordable since they are already plastered. If you don't want to plaster your walls, then stones are more affordable.

      It doesn't seem like they have taken into consideration seismic events. Erecting wall panels on the surface of a foundation without being firmly embedded in the building foundation poses serious safety risk. To add strength to the structural integrity, the wall panels should be entrenched deep down the foundations. Any tremor to this building may risk collapse of the wall panels, unless the wall panels are embedded in the columns and beams.
