Maliniji is a rebellion in music..broken so many rules boldly.. best artist i have ever heard... thanks for this video... however much you say its little.. never had a boring singining session of her..i always feel proud when somone with simplicity in all aspects of life performs professionally...as professional as a singer can be..hats off.. her chakradhar and bhairavi still loop in my mind non stop some of the best performed bandish of all times really big salute to the legend

She is one of the top classical female singers from India. Absolutely one of the topmost names in the best of the best. If you start naming ten best female classical singers, her name is right there with names like Kesarbai, Kishoritai, Parweenji, Hirabai, Mogubai, Manikbai, Shobhatai, Begum Akhtar etc... proud to even take these names as a fan from Maharashtra.
Malini-ji is a true gem and it would be a pure blessing to hear her. but the language seems to be a great barrier here.. English subtitles would be highly beneficial for an audience like me.
