@@Grychon so far so good from me. Although batteries are expensive af. Very fast car but I think the receiver/radio lets it down a bit as I’ve had a few instances where I turn the car on and I don’t have any drive but have steering power. This might be due to overheating and takes a couple of tries to get it working again, but apart from that it’s a great little buggy and Will easily do 50+ mph on 6s
This type of little RC car retails for around 15-20usd in stores without the FPV feature, so this one is not a bad deal at all.
I once did an escape room that used a toycar like that for one puzzle. It was all close to eachothers, so distance wasn't a problem. For use like that it would be somewhat perfect (cost vice)

Is it just me or does the gyro look like its back to front? It looks like its turning into the way you moved it (while holding), might be why it was so easy to spin at speed. I have this before and it was because the receiver was mounted back to front.
Aren't those wheels a miniature version of the wltoys 14401?

My little cousins birthday soon an hes been wanting something like this for years. I was wondering if any of ya have any recommendations for an RC car with camera? This is out of my range of expertise, we live in a desert so some off-road abilities would be wise I think. I just dont want to buy him an expensive paperweight with wheels. I got 200$ to work with.
Have you played with the little Emax fpv racer? It's a lot of fun, relatively cheap, and works way better. I still pull mine out occasionally (that sounds questionable).

change the lens for a better field of view. that looks to be only 90 degrees or less fov.
Seems faster than the Emax and half the price of a Team Associated 1/28. Looks fun without the camera and with it, like icing on a cake.

the camera might be 4k, but that doesnt mean that the VTX can actually transmit 4k video

But yeah, it's not real FPV... It should be video by WiFi or something, right? The latency of those systems are too high. 😕
But there are other options for that if you want. You know?

I'm getting something similar from banggood it's a 1/16 pickup truck, less than 30 quid! So hopefully use it to better film my hg military trucks and even upload my first ever video to CZcams....

Wifi cameras have too much lag. A good budget setup is a Eachine TX06 all-in-one Camera and a Eachine ROTG01-PRO Receiver.

WiFi fpv drones and cameras are stupid cheap mostly because they aren't very good at a real time live wireless feed and short range

Why so cheap? My suspicion since rc products started selling with FPV that runs via cell phone apps.
An spy rc car basically since you have to download the app and control via your phone anything that camera sees is probably being recorded via cell phone and uploaded in real time to the secret cloud. So others, people who knows who, see where you run it, how you live, what you do, what you say, if cell phones, pcs and alexa was not enough. What better way than to spy on people, make the product irresistibly cheap. What happened to the good old days of FPV with dedicated controller (non cell phone). No thank you I will do my own FPV the good old private fashion way.
