•This game normally only runs in 480p and 15fps. I upscaled it to 4K and 60fps using dgVoodoo 2. I stretched the picture to 16:9 Aspect Ratio, I wasn't sure whether to do so or not, my brother said it was better so I did that. - Hry

I know everyone says the console version was better, but I didn’t have a console growing up, just an old Windows 98 computer. And I would play this and SimCity 4 and it was magical
I also played things like put-put and rayman on pc! i didn't get a console (ps2) till like 2005 lol so i played on my familys bulky pc

I dont even see how this is divided by console and PC version. They're literally 2 different games entirely. The only remote similarity between the 2 is that they're both Spongebob games and they both have Planktons robots taking over Bikini Bottom. Aside from that, there is nothing about them that makes the games remotely similar in any way

Yup, I bought this game physically for PC and it came totally different than the console, why did they even call it Battle for Bikini Bottom?
@@OhHeyItsMattyD This was in 2003, I'm pretty sure PCs at the time weren't powerful enough to port the console version to them.
This was the version of this game that I played and why I was confused when I heard it was getting a remake. I’ve seen the console version now and it actually looks like a lot of fun.

How curious, one of the Robots looks like Tar-Tar but from the Concept Art of the Console Version, you can see that is missing one hand and instead it has a part of the Tar Tar Sauce cannon.
really I think that all games are great just for people with different interests, I like old games, pc games, adventure games, puzzle games, and lego games the most.
This version was okay. Wish I had the console version growing up instead. At least the Rehydrated version is coming.
I used to have a demo disc that had demos of this game, a Jimmy Neutron 3D platformer, and some Fairly Oddparents game that would never launch. Was pretty dissapointed that the PC version was just a minigame collection, so I ended up only playing the Jimmy Neutron one

I had the same disc I think! I have massive nostalgia for b4bb pc though, I’m awful at games so it entertained me for a while.
I remember imitating the Pink Menace level throwing soda cans at hand drawn robot targets when I was a kid.
Fun Fact: the remaster of the console version is coming to pc meaning people who grew up with this version can play the batter of the 3 versions for the first time ever
I kinda want a rehydrated version of this one as well, but with the classic point and click formula spongebob pc is known for added in between the minigames (and skip able for those who hate it). I really miss classic pc spongebob

Heavy Iron Studios developed the console versions, Vicarious Visions developed the GBA version, and AWE Games developed the PC version. The console versions are 3D platformers, the GBA version is a 2D platformer, and the PC version is a minigame collection with 5 minigames.

PCs always have neem. And always will be. But to aim a game and young kids you cant expe t them to have nice PCs or to comprehend that their PC might not be able to play it. So for a time console usualy had the better games
