"Mum, I forgot to kiss you this morning" - it takes a lot to break me, but now am broken in so many wee little pieces, can't imagine how Mum felt! Peace & good thoughts to all
Holly B I agree
Watch Enchanted Lifepath
As an Irish person knowing how small our country is, in geographical terms and in terms of how so many people know eachother, especially in the small towns, this case honestly blows my mind how it is still unsolved and there's not a single trace of her. This is so heartbreaking
@A M Lol exactly, she makes Ireland sound like one of those really small island nations or Iceland even...
@@mynthon0 shut up
As someone who is from the local area that Mary is from, it is heartbreaking. I do feel Mc Eniff knew something nobody else did, but we will never know now. Cashelard is such a tight knit community, and I do believe she wandered across the border to Belleek, If she had fell into a bog hole she would have been found. I do think she was abducted if she wandered across the border
@N M 3 Million is lot!
@@irenedavo3768my state, Kansas, has a similar population to Ireland. It’s incredibly strange just how small 3 million people truly is. I’ve lived all over the state and everywhere I’ve gone, I’ve met people who are closely connected to me.
Trevor Deely is a fascinating case too! He disappeared from a work Christmas night out and was never seen again. There’s CCTV footage of him leaving the bank where he worked and walking down the dark road into nothing...
He was 22 at the time and he’s been a missing person for nearly 20 years now.
My grandparents left ireland just a few years before this case and even from over here in america now, they think it's the uncle.
poor mary my grandfather was a soldier on the first search for her. hes still haunted by it all :(
Aw! I feel So bad! God bless him
Do you watch Enchanted Lifepath?
Tbh I’m kinda mad that the mom is holding back the investigation.
@Rex Beckett really? How disrespectful to comment that under MY comment on a video like this
@@Kittyxandra19 im marys cousin , you are right kitty
Do you watch Enchanted Lifepath?
I’m pretty sure the main suspect was the uncle who had some ties to a politician in that area
Having Anne Jr. go back to the cottage the same way they suspected Mary to was a very smart move, given they were equally unfamiliar with the area it shows that Mary could probably have found her way back to the cottage without getting lost.
I believe it was the uncle that is responsible for Mary’s disappearance. The one who said he told her to turn back.
How old was the uncle at the time of Mary’s disappearance
Based on the research you've done, do you think its possible the uncle did something to Mary? He was the last one to see her after all. Anne jr believed Mary was being abused, is it possible her abuser was the uncle and he either killed her to keep her quiet or accidentally killed her whilst in the midst of abusing her? Not actually accusing, just curious.
how did you comment 18 hours ago when it was just uploaded?
@@alishbarashad4789 Channel members get early access to her videos 😊
i thought that at first, but what about her body? surely they would have found it?
That thought crossed my mind as well about her uncle
@@jessroche4677 Maybe he knew where to dispose of her where no one would look? Or he just got lucky?
This case is so sad. I feel so bad for all of her family. I do think the most likely scenario is that she was abducted, maybe by someone she knew (because that is a statistically likelihood), and has been dead for decades. I feel so sorry for her mother that doesn't want to believe that, and I feel deeply sorry for her sister who just wants more evidence.
If you knew the remote mountain of Carricknahorna you'd know she couldn't possibly be abducted. It's remote, really remote, no other people, narrow lanes. Look at the family, don't feel sorry for Mary's mother. Did she look at the camera when speaking? Did she plead for the child's return. I am the mother of a six year old, l can't imagine the pain and anguish, my grandmother lived close to where Mary dissapeared, this was a disgusting cover up and I'm not surprised it was never solved. Abuse was common practice in the 70's and 80's. Some day they will all be judged. Karma.
I feel she was abducted too
All I can think about is what the family must be going through without any closure. I hate that something that was out of their control tore them apart.
another Irish case to cover - the history behind the 1916 rising- its a huge point of contention in Ireland and has never lost its importance in our history. 🇮🇪
Bit of a sensitive topic atm though...

Wow having identical twins and one goes missing, constant reminder couldn't imagine how the family coped with this
Is it socially acceptable for me to be happy that this case is irish? And no one talks about this. Ever. So thank you for talking about it ❤️
Megan Ryan of course you can be happy that more attention is being bought to a case that isn’t well known!
please cover the case of elizabeth clarke, it’s an irish case. i remember she went missing when i was really young and there were posters up everywhere for years and nobody talks about her or her case :( i think there’s a lot more information about what happened now i just think she deserves justice
The main suspect was the uncle. The one that was with her when she went missing.
Kailee Russell of course, always the last person to see them is the suspect
I know! I’m so surprised he isn’t named suspect no.1 He could easily have lured her on his journey, for sinister reasons. Maybe he has a very strong alibi? I am VERY suspicious of him.
It’s all a cover up. Everyone in the town knows it
I believe the uncle did it ,the house he was going to to return the ladder ,was that ever checked? As if Mary had a secret maybe she was being abused by the uncle or the person living in the house they were going to and something happened . Ps the documentary is still up on CZcams as I watched it this morning, great watch x
I was scrolling through CZcams looking for something to watch .I forgot that it was Wednesday this made my day . Hi from Texas

Just finished watching this with my mum. We watch your videos together. I live in Donegal and my granny helped with the volunteers when this happened. There are a lot of rumours going about donegal about Mary and there are a lot of people accusing other people of being involved. I was in town which is an hour away from where Mary disappeared and a lad came up to me and my mum and started about this case. she kept saying she knows who done it and she had informed the Gardas but they are not doing anything about it.
I’m curious did the lad say a name of who did it?
@@amandahardin1338 no, didn’t say.
It’s heartbreaking and crazy how a child or anyone really can just disappear without a trace , my heart go out to any family that has ever gone (or still going) though something like this. Thankfully haven’t never had to go though anything like this so I can’t even imagine how these families feel xx
Idk why, since we didn’t hear anything extremely suspicious about him, but I have a weird feeling about the uncle. I think he knows more than he said, and perhaps is responsible. I don’t like making accusations without good basis, but I just have this gut feeling.
I’m from ireland and it broke my heart how mary was born on june 14th and i was born on the 13th of june my heart goes out to her family
It’s nice to see Irish unsolved cases getting some exposure on CZcams! Thanks for another great video Georgia ☺️x
Thank you so much for covering a case from my country! 💕
I suspect the uncle. Especially if she was abused. It's usually always someone you know and trust. The neighbor man could've helped. I can't believe there's not more discussion about this. But I'm sure her mother (aka his religious sister) didn't DARE question him, or if she did, didn't want that "scandal" out for the family's namesake.
Thank You! Been asking you to cover this case for a while. I'm from Dublin.
I am so excited about this case! It isn’t well known, and I am so glad that you have done a video on this. Thank you!
Another great video. I can really appreciate the time that you must spend doing the research, and then the way you deliver it is very captivating. 🙏🏻
Always brightens my day to see a video from you 💖
Thank you for covering an Irish Case♥️ love always🦋💜
Another great video Georgia. Thank you for sharing her story.
i’m home sick from work today & am so excited to see you posted!!! making my flu a bit more bearable
I’m delighted to see you covering some Irish cases Georgia - there’s some really baffling cases over here I would love to hear you discuss.
I really like how you do any country and cover their cases as well. Its not something you see many do and its awesome to see. And its something I'd never heard of, which is even better! ❤️
I saw part of the documentary on CZcams awhile back but didn’t realize it was controversial or that it had been taken down. Thanks for sharing!
Always enjoy your uploads! Keep em coming sister!
Apparently this case was a huge gardaí (gar-dee) cover up. There were people walking near the area a few years after she went missing and were convinced they saw human hair in the soil. They told the guards and the gardaí didn’t want to know at all. Then years and years later Ann jr. got in contact with someone to scan the area with a sonar like machine and he said that it looked like the ground had been disturbed and that the shape the machine was showing resembled the shape of a small body. They put in permission to get the ground dug up but we’re denied due to insouciant evidence. It’s all F-ed up. I’m from Ireland and grew up knowing about this case. Can’t help but think that if this case happened anywhere else in the world it would be solved now.
By the way I’m a huge fan 💖
kerri mcgovern Wow. Could I read some of your sources?
Louise Phillips if you look up on CZcams Mary Boyle documentary there’s an hour and a half documentary 😁 you get to hear it all from her sister Ann herself 😁
Ye....I live in ballyshannon and a lot of people think it’s a cover up
I think the uncle is probably the suspect... I wonder if he's Mary's dad's brother or her mum's brother? Just out of curiosity as it would further explain why Anne and Anne Jr have fallen out
He's her mother's brother, she doesn't want the investigation to focus on him as he is her brother which is why Anne Jr and her fell out I believe
Imagine choosing your brother over your daughter... 😕
Omg, I was trying to think of this little girl's name the other day when I watched a documentary made about her, well done for covering this, it really needs some coverage xx
Another great video well done Georgia!
Story not particularly known here either...our Gaurdai were terrible in 70s and 80s...live in rural Galway...a local detective use to get drunk in local pub...always forgot his gun...had to go back many mornings to get it...got drunk and always showed it off as most not armed...they way more professional now ..sort of...leave their guns at work now when they go on piss!!!....no wonder so many unsolved murders...only couple med examiners in country as well...someone could be dead long time before med examiner turns up..
Not back in the 70s only ...nowadays too. We had a break in and the garda that came around gave us names of who it could be without evidence he also left his diary behind and we went through it of courage and he had names and court cases of everyone in the book. Pure stupid!
I'm from Donegal, big thank you for doing this! 💖❤️💜
It's true. I grew up in the 70s and as kids, me and my friends would hang out in the woods in our neighborhood for hours without adult supervision. None of us ever went missing.
I grew up the same way in the 80’s. I would never allow that with my child though,it’s scary out there now.
Love being this early! Thanks Georgia, you always make my last hour of work fly by!
Thank you for your videos. Xx
Love your vids Georgia 😍
Great video Georgia, I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this case and I’ve lived here all my life.
If you were thinking of covering another Irish case in the future can I suggest the murder of Sophie Du Plantier, a French filmmaker who was murdered in West Cork, Ireland. I’ve met the main suspect twice (didn’t realise it both times) but unlike other times I had no gut feeling as to him being ‘off’. His name is Ian Bailey and he was an English reporter/ journalist. The Irish guards in the 90’s weren’t much better as key evidence went missing and it turned into a bit of a witch-hunt.
There’s a good Audible podcast on it called West Cork.
There's also a Netflix documentary called 'Sophie: A murder in West Cork'.
Great video and such a sad story! Hi from Texas!!

It’s sad to hear about the animosity between Ann and Ann jr
Georgia, this video was great! You should do a midweek mystery on Nicole Morin. She's from my hometown in Canada and I think the case would intrigue you
So much has changed since I was a child in the 80s. We walked around all over the city as soon as we could walk. Went into strangers houses to get candy and hang out and no one cared. No one worried. Didn’t even lock the doors. These days. I don’t even let my daughter be in the garden unattended.
She came back to give her mam a kiss 😔 bless her
thanks for doing an irish case love from ireland 💚👍🏻
i think if the mom knew about what was going on in some capacity, otherwise she wouldn't be so reluctant to help with this theory/looking into it
Only up the road from where she went missing. Family went looking for her. Heartbreaking that this still hangs over the place, God bless her wee soul.
Very interesting video. I happened to come across it by accident. No doubt you did a lot of hard work regarding research, setting this video up etc.. Thank you very much.
Great seeing coverage on Irish cases! Another interesting yet decestating case is that of Raoinaid Murray. About 20 years unsolved murder of a young girl in Dublin’s outskirts near my house. Praying for the families
Prepping dinner listening to this. Love your vids. U should cover the delphi murders it's been 3 years and still nothing x

Coming from northern Ireland I have never heard of this case... such a sad case and heartbreaking for her family..x
I'm also from NI but living in Scotland atm. It's so strange to hear familiar place names from my childhood mentioned in a video (spent a lot of time in Donegal). You never really get videos focusing on cases over here. My heart hurts so much for her twin sister, she was robbed of a life with her sister.
I feel sorry for Mary’s family there to go through that That she went missing I am also a twin just like her
I don't feel sorry for the family only Ann, Mary's sister. Margo O' Donnell did stellar work trying to help Ann. I played in the area at six years old, my grandmother was from there, believe me you did NOT wander very far without fearing the intimidating lands. Robert Black didn't do this. Robert Black would have been no match for the remote bog land.
3 yrs later I get recommended this vid lol. Yes I agree and get what you’re saying,it had to be someone very familiar with the countryside, and it’s very convenient that the uncle just so happened to visit the neighbours that day and be the last person to see Mary,I won’t say he was the last one to see her alive as I think that was someone else but he knows exactly what happened and so did others in his family, feel so bad for her sister that she hasn’t got the justice Mary deserves.
@@irishcountrygirl78Did the uncle work for a leading politician in the County?
Hey love watching your videos you should do a video on “the vanishing triangle “we had a number of girls vanish in the 90s in the Dublin/Wicklow/kildare area they think it was a man called Larry Murphy there is a book written on this called missing by Barry Cummings very interesting as Ireland so small 😘😘keep up the great videos xx
Whether or not you managed to pronounce these Irish names correctly (I can't personally comment), I think it's really wonderful that you tried. You made the effort to actually look it up. A lot of CZcamsrs just don't even bother finding out how to say foreign words and names.
My parents grew up in the 60s/70s, and children back then had a lot more "freedom" than kids today do. My grandparents hardly ever checked in on them and just assumed they knew their way around. It was a different time
You’re truly the best
As soon as I started watching this case Robert Black’s name immediately came to my mind.
I feel so bad for both her mother and sister.
This man has been said to have been in the area
Great page
My granny lives right beside where she went missing in Cashelard! She lived in a very mountainous area full of bog holes and there is also a big lake up there
Please give us more Irish cases 🔥👍🥰
I’m super excited to watch after class, I’ve missed your videos so much!! 💞💞

That bit of hair thats going to the wrong side is driving me mad 😂
Omg same 😂

Furthering on from your comment about how years ago they were a lot more relaxed with their children, it's also a community thing. We live in a rural community and people are a lot more relaxed - children have a lot more freedom and parents are often more relaxed. We were allowed to roam around the farm - we knew everyone and everyone knew us. No neighbours for miles. It's a lot more relaxed so I always understand with the parents.
I'll be starting class next week and I'm so nervous. Thank you for uploading! :D
I have just found your video today by chance. I like old cases unsolved or solved programmes and I was looking what options were there. Then I found this video about Mary and I got interested on the case. But what a surprise when I heard your Brittish accent! I just loved it because my family and I lived in London 44 years ago. And it is not quiet often to find English accent but American since my mother tongue in neither of them. I liked your programme so I decided to suscribe.
It is very tragic what happened to the Boyle family and it is really worst not to find answers after 43 years. But hopefully someday it will be solved. I would have tried a psychic help maybe some answers would come up.
A case I would love to see you cover is the Springfield Three. ❤️
It occurred to me that the uncle is suspect #1 and I see that I’m not alone in that! I’m upset that the mother isn’t pushing for justice and my heart goes out to Mary’s twin sister. Is the mother really protecting her brother if he is the one who was hurting Mary and likely killed her? Sigh
super exited to see this its been raining all day...
Never clicked out of another video so fast in my LIFE.
This case is so sad. I know this case because of my family living in the area. 😔😔😔 Can you imagine being the twin sister? A lot of people think the Mom and Daughter are no longer getting along because Sister looks just like her twin and acts just like twin and so on.
I feel so bad for the poor girl 💔 I'm surprised I haven't heard of this case before!!
Thank you so so much for doing this 🇮🇪
The GuardEYE 😂 skitten. Very good video and very entertaining listening to you try and pronounce irish words Haha. Btw it's the Guardí so guard-EE. Well done xx
That’s horrible. I really wish the family get some justice in this case. As for the little girl, I wish her the best wherever she is now ❤️
I'm Irish and I'd never heard of this case. Very sad how it as never solved
The suspicion surrounding the uncle in the Mary Boyle case reminds me of a somewhat similar murder of a young girl that happened 20 years later in the United States. An Illinois man was convicted of murder in the 1997 death of his 11-year-old niece, who was missing for only slightly less than a week, and his arrest and subsequent conviction bitterly divided the victim's family. Some were convinced the uncle was too mentally-handicapped to have committed the crime, and others took the prosecution's side. (If you're curious, it's the Brittany Martinez case.)
When family members are under suspicion, things can get rather messy, and the truth can easily get lost.
This is also when the troubles where happening you should do a video in that that could be part of the history week I would love that
The way everyone, even the *army*, looked for this little girl warms my heart very much, but it's very sad that she was never found :'((
