Please do these monthly! Gave me so many ideas. Just starting
Hey Jill, zone 9A here. I’ve been harvesting cucumbers from both of the varieties I’m growing, Eating fresh and sharing with neighbors. I’ve picked lots of bush beans even given some away, a couple Ping Tung eggplant & picked my first sun gold and super sweet 100 cherry tomatoes. Both were very good. I’ve also gotten about 3 small bowls full of blueberries. I’m loving the garden this year. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm in zone 8 and just put my first loaves of garden fresh zucchini bread in the oven!! Yum!
Hi Jill. I’d be so wrapped to see a full garden tour of your whole garden space🙏 be great to peek at what your growing in Jess’s old beds, love to see what you’ve done with all the space. ❤❤❤
Zone 9 here, I have tomatoes as big as my fist, hoping they're ripe by Memorial Day for that grilled burger! The green beans and cucumbers are about to come in. I grow bush beans and bush cucumbers as we live "in town". The gardens here in South Carolina are doing absolutely amazing this year due to lots of rain and cooler weather. I don't think we've hit 90 yet this year.
Love u Jill u have gone so far with ur nolige of gardening. So impressed and thanks for sharing all your helpful tips. Been watching u before u bought Jessica's farm and know how far you've come. True inspiration. ❤
Man I live in zone 8 Texas, if I started my garden now most of it would burn up or be inedible from to much heat! We either get a early start in April, or plant in fall.
Very inspirational! There is still time. Thank you!
8b here in Oregon 🎉 let’s plant!
4a here :(
Growing zones only tell you your average winter temps. This is for plant hardiness over winter. Frost free days are more important for veg.
This!!!! I'm in zone 8B, Seattle, my best friend is also in zone 8B in Texas. If we planted our crops at the same time we would fail! In June our average temperatures reach low 70s, where as her temperatures are in the 100s. I won't even consider planting my peppers until the 1st of June. Though our daytime temps are mid 60s and low 70s our nighttime temperatures still are dipping into the mid-40s. I usually enjoy your videos Jill, but this one really missed the mark.
Thank you😊
I had a big problem with gnats….I[‘m starting some micro dwarf tomatoes tomorrow! I was so afraid of not having tomatoes…..I have a lot of things started that I moved outside away from my gnat problem. Okra and a lot of herbs. They’re all doing great! Thank you…….I was afraid I couldn’t have my maters! BTW. I HATE GNATS!!!! Thank you for this video!!!! Best wishes for your family and the new baby!!! ❤❤❤
Use cinnamon to help get rid of the gnats. Or you can put some apple cider vinegar traps out.
Apple cider vinegar drop of dawn soap and h20. The little buggers love that!
JILL YOUR AWESOME AND AMAZING ❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊 ALWAYS SUPER FANTASTIC VIDEO 📹 ❤ NATE WHERE ARE YOU. BET JILL HAS A LOT OF HONY DOS FOR YOU TO GET DONE ✔. TIGH🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊
💚
Wow, it's not too late for spinach, lettuce, etc.? I live in zone 7, and I thought it had already gotten too hot, because we planted spinach, lettuce, and greens, and they are not doing anything at all. The ones we planted a month ago pooped out, too. Everything else is doing great, though. (The stuff that loves heat.)
Planting for May?? It’s the 17th!! Better start working on June.
I think she said in May, not for May.
@@KathyW5 I understand English. To publish that on the 17th was a waste with nearly 2/3 of the month OVER, PAST, GONE. And if you listen to the video, Jill said “for May”.
It's never a waste, if you can't get them in this year. Then this video will help someone next year.
The volume sucks
Volume is just great.
