Thank you, Yale Camerata, Chamber Singers, Morse Chorale, Dr. Andre Thomas, Joe Lerangis, Stephanie Tubiolo Fistonich, Laurie Ongley, Camilla Tassi, and countless others involved in this inspiring performance. Blessed Holiday Season to all from the ISM!
What a wonderful event, expecially in this unusual and hard time thanks Silvana Roma Italy
Glad to see the tradition continues whatever the challenge. Superb music and magic with the technology. One of our grandsons, Peter Meredith participated from San Francisco I'm a UTS SSM grad '60 and maybe the oldest at 92. At least one of them. John Minter, Eugene Oregon. Choral Conducing with Elaine Brown
Oh, my.... Simply, magnificent and what a joy! Thank you, all! The graphics, the strings, the singers and choreography, all splendid! Merry Christmas and thanks for the wonderful concert!
Thank You, Camerata Choir and instrumentalists, for a beautiful advent preparation to this Christmas season.
Ron Hasselmann Minneapolis
Are you the Ron Hasselmann that played trumpet with MN Orchestra? If so, hello? I used to sing in the MBC with Bea in the 80s.
Bravi tutti!!
Beautiful and meaningful to me. Thank you singers, for what I am sure involved many hours of practice and lots of patience!
Love how you span the centuries and perform more than just the usual pieces! It's great to have exposure to more of the little known pieces: stretches our minds and broadens our appreciation. Also appreciated the detailed listing of the pieces at the end. Oh, here's something that might bring you a smile--I put on the CC to try to catch some of the words, but it didn't function that well because the first piece came out as "break the streets" and later there was the "Morris corral," so rather than trying to catch all the words, I just sat back and enjoyed the music and the amazingly artistic cinematography.
I graduated with an MMus in Voice from the YSM in 1970. How things have changed! My undergraduate degree was from the Pius X School of Liturgical Music at Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart in Purchase, NY. It's nice to know that there is now an Institute of Sacred Music at Yale!
