What a fantastic classic car auction today at ACA. Well done Geoff, David, Guy, Bryn and all the ACA team. 👏 Looking forward to tomorrow’s auction; automobilia, original artwork, number plates, motorcycles and cars! 👀 😊🚗 🚙 🏍️ 🖼️
How can a car arriving to go under the hammer not have enough fuel in it to show the potential buyer that it at least starts and moves? It cannot be good for the sale price. That green Citron 2CV had a guide price of £2,000----- £2,500 and sold for £7,500 ! Happy surprise for the vender.
Shocking to see how low a Borgward Isabella TS is selling for. I used to have one of those and I paid nearly the same amount for an unrestored 58 TS Deluxe over Fourty years ago. Those cars were very good vehicles. It is sad that they are not worth more.
Where would one get parts if required for such a rarity of a car. I thought i new all makes, never heard nor seen one of these before. Lovely car in all fairness.
@@martinmcdonald4207 Borgwards were among the best selling cars in Germany in the Midfifties. The Isabella alone sold over 200000 times from 55 to 61. And they were among the best German vehicles. There was a very strange case of pushed into bankrupcy in the early Sixties. Surely pushed ahead by the concurrent German manufacturerers.

Spot on Lauren, it was a good day with everyone putting 100% in 😊
I love it when the auctioneer says its still a cheap car even though they guide priced it 4k less (FORD CAPRI)
Happy Christmas 🎄
Some real beauties in there, nice auction
£3000 for that Hillman imp, I feel sorry for whoever spent all that time restoring it to only get that, good deal.
Unless it's a DB5 or a Bentley 4 1/2 litre or similar, no-one makes money restoring classic cars. Ask me how I know this... 😀
@@timgriggs8592 Not saying you have to make lots of money but the condition of that car was more than worth what it went for imo.
Good deal for the seller

On playback you cant scan through the images on youtube so it completely ruins the search process. Which means I wont view it as much 🤔😫
Ah, yes. It’s not very precise scrubbing 4-6hrs of live show. We’ll see if there’s an efficient way of bookmarking each lot. Would that help?
Yes anything that helps to scroll through plenty others do it but it's not user friendly to just guess where cars are. 👍
A romantic notion buying one of these okd cars, but they were hesps of crap new, and worse now
