I think the fact Chica seems more alive than the others in Fnaf 1 is a fun little detail when you take in the fact she was the first of the children to be murdered. She is more used to running her animatronic because she's been in it longest, so she comes off as more aware and alive due to that.
I can agree with that. I feel like she’s one of the most angriest was because she was killed first and witnessed all of it. She was helpless, and I feel like as a child. She probably blamed herself for that.
if you read the news papers in fnaf 1, it seems like the children were murdered over the course of summer in 1985, not all at once, so she probably has been in an animatronic the longest.
For anyone wondering theres a lore reason why chica isn't in sister location, as the animatronics are clearly designed by william afton (the interview) it makes sense why chica isn't there, because chica had a seperate restaurant, called "Chica's Party World" who was created by henry emily (william aftons enemy). So Afton purposely didn't incluce her because she wasn't HIS animatronic, but henrys, so she wasn't included in sister location, which also explains why "Chica was the first" as william put the child in chicas body first because it wasn't his animatronic, so he didn't care what happened to it, and also explains why Funtime Chica is in FNAF 6 and why she has a different design, as FNAF 6 was run by Casette Man (henry emily), not Afton, so he made sure to add Chica in and also gave her another design as Funtime Freddy & Foxy where made by different people than Funtime Chica. So thats why. To sum it up. Chica isn't williams animatronic, so she wasn't in sister location, which explains other lore.
And this helps understand why Henry says "A wound first inflicted on me", because when the body inside chica was discovered, HIS bussiness had to close, and William´s was still thriving
personally i think toy chica was designed so feminine because in the first game a lot of people people thought she was male or a duck so this was scott’s way of confirming what she was supposed to be in a way. i dont know for sure but that’s just what makes the most sense to me.
Bonnie, Chica and Foxie are ironically the three primary colors, creating a sense of balance. The brown of Freddy comes from mixing all three together, creating a sense of completion and unity as well as implying a more neutral and apathetic perspective. Going based on color theory alone, the group would be incomplete without her. Plus I found her to be the creepiest. She seemed to be the most unpredictable and unhinged of the four.
Things are always scarier when they aren't really meant to be scary. The red eyes, sharp teeth, and disfiguration of the newer animatronics is not as scary as the ones that just looked dead and uncanny 😭
Something I've noticed about all the glamrocks is that they all kinda represent a crutch, or archetype of Rock Life. Freddy is doing it to have fun with his friends. Roxy masks her self confidence issues. Monty is the jerk of the band. To me, Chica was someone who worked hard, but had a secret side to her. Like her "vice" is eating pizza/garbage. So while she may appear happy and friendly on the outside to the public, she has this secret vice side that she wants no one to see. Something that could either represent the "silent sufferer" of the rock world. be it drugs or an eating disorder...... Am I looking too far into this? Maybe... But Monty having jealousy issues and Roxanne crying when she becomes shattered cause she thinks her looks are all that matter and why people love her... Idk. It's just something to chew on for Glamrock Chica
I really like this interpretation of Glamrock Chica. The silent sufferer. It wouldn’t be something that is directly noticeable like Roxy’s self esteem issues, but it really goes to show how the virus is capable of bringing out the worst out of everyone. And I’m going to take full advantage of that for my depiction of the Glamrock animatronics in my FNaF AU.
One of the biggest mistakes of FNAF is how little the 4 Main ones from FNAF1 (and their other forms) actually matter in anything, be It in lore or in gameplay, one would thought the front faces would get more love
Idk I kinda like that fact. We're just encountering some of the many faceless victims of William Afton. I like that they were murdered for no rhyme or reason other than they were there. I don't think everything needs to be meaningful or have some sort of significance it's just way more creepier that way.

You all are forgetting about the UCN "anime" with (Toy) Chica starring. Even if it is a "secret" I think it's worth noting, since she has a voice and detailed images with a little story, and other "secrets" that include Chica are minigames with her being just a handful of large pixels as a playermodel
Chica doesn't appear in sister location, but she is an integral part of the lore! She has her OWN RENTAL FRANCHIZE called Chica's Party World, as revealed in the source code of the websites a while ago
@@SamAx. I disagree with you on the grounds that she is unpopular. Circus baby's has some "popular" characters, but they don't appear very true to the original designs. While chica is remixed, she is fairly similar to toy chica, as opposed to Funtime Freddy or Funtime foxy. Also, her rental property is above ground and not buried, think about chuck e cheese vs a clown coming to birthday parties.

Chica has always been one of those "comfort" characters in the first game. She was not only the only girl in the first game, but I seen her as a hispanic/latina character cuz of her name. Everytime she shows up at the window, me and Chica be having girl talk in Spanish and everything. plus I loved how her bib said "let's eat" was funny to me 😂
I noticed Glamrock Chica has a strange and unique moveset, take a look at Monty and Roxy, they have very stable and normal movement but Glamrock Chica is always slouching and very loose when walking, almost as if shes a puppet being moved around awkwardly. Shes also constantly crying even before her decommissioning and is always hungry. She tries to stuff her mouth with food and realising she cant soothe her hunger she starts acting weird. I strongly believe that Chica is a childs soul trapped within her because of her emotional behaviors.
I don’t really know fnaf lore so ima just make this up :D So I’m pretty sure in FNAF 2 they reused the old animatronic parts to make ‘better’ ones, right? I don’t know, i feel like they did that with glamrock chica too. Since she’s actually one of the actual ogs in the ‘glam rock squad’ Roxy and Monty are just..there 😃
@@marieye While this could theoretically be true, the chances of Chica specifically having the past connections feels strange. Freddy is most likely the one with them out of the glamrocks, since all of the Glamrocks have the negative aspects of their personalities amplified EXCEPT Freddy, showing his theorized connection to M.A.
Chica was the design that caught my attention the most. It genuinely looked like a real animatronic, almost like a furby. And Withered Chica is pure horror.
i’ve always had a super strong emotional attachment to chica, and i’m not entirely sure why. something about her is just always so comforting in a strange way, perhaps it was growing up with a LONGGG fnaf phase and her being the only female of the 4 mains, but she’s still my favourite animatronic model to this day and i really think she deserves more attention than she gets at the moment ^^
ever since i was introduced to the fnaf game and the lore of it, i always had an emotional attachment to Chica. i’ve always thought to myself that she wasn’t that “important” in a way and wasn’t as popular as the other main animatronics in the band. i’ve always liked her design in the first game where Scott gave her a more “masculine” look to her which was pretty cool and i love her NM design and her withered design as well.
It's weird because while Scott said he found Bonnie to be the creepiest in Fnaf 1, I honestly always thought Chica was. The way her mouth is always opened and her eyes wide while staring at you, it's like she wants to kill & eat you.
chica staring at the camera in the bathroom in fnaf 1 has always been one of my favorite visuals from fnaf. she just looks so uncanny and her eyes look so dead. it rlly shows scotts skill to create rlly iconic and solid character designs
For me, Chica is the scariest animatronic out of the classic four. The way she stares at you in the first game is very unnerving, as well as her jumpscare. She's the character that killed me the more times. In FNAF 2, she just looks creepier than ever. Her jaw is nightmare fuel.
3:15 I love this moment. I always thought Chica was the scariest in fnaf 1. She seems unique in SB because she acts possessed. The odd posture, the factory-default dialogue, animalistic tendencies, and her crying ambience really makes me think she is just controlled by a demon or something lol.

She is possessed. Just not by ghosts of children. Just like the other Glamrocks, she has a virus which is controlled by Vanny/Afton. The only one who’s debatable is the Daycare Attendant(s).
On the topic of Chica in SB, the intro sticks out to me a lot. Note she's shown to be visibly distressed when Freddy starts glitching out and even runs to him when he collapses. It makes seeing her the way the virus is using her in the main game all the more upsetting I think, because otherwise she'd absolutely side with Freddy and help out.
Chica deserves so much more than being the rule 34 punching bag. I always found her as one of the creepier characters in FNAF, Withered Chica is peak Chica and it's unfortunate that she never really got to be properly scary again. Loved the video!!!
Chica has ALWAYS been my favorite character since fnaf1 and this is what Ive been saying since. Im so glad she's getting the reconizition she deserves in recent years, ESPECIALLY her withered design. She's always been such an interestng character, and the idea that she was killed first and was helpless to stop everything from happening (as another commenter has pointed out) is so heartbreaking

for real. the uncanny valley sense of unease she just unearths…EVERY time i see her to this day is insane. one of the best character designs in the fnaf series as far as how scary it is without being cheesy. wish we got more stuff like that in the more scare-focused era of fnaf.
Genuinely, when I was still a middle school kid, I absolutely *dreaded* her jumpscare in FNAF 2. I would go through Markiplier’s comment section looking for the one with the jumpscare times just so I could be prepared; I remember legitimately counting the seconds 😭
I'm glad people are giving GR Chica some recognition. She's always been my favorite of the GR Animatronics, so it's vindicating to see people see her for how well designed she is.
Chica being excluded from fnaf sl actually kind of made her better because it got fans to theorize that there was a location before fnaf sl where she was the star of the show.
In the first game I actually feel the opposite way about their appearance. I guess that's because all of instances where bonnie looks straight at you, and always keeps a normal posture, mainly the parts and service cam, the left corner cam and when he's at the door. Chica instead looks way more mechanical to me, the way she leans her head and stares at nothing, whith her jaw always hanging. In particular I refer to both the right hall cams and the jumpscare.
I always found the original Chica to be the funny one of the group. The way she stares at the player in the doorway or in the Dining Hall with a "😃" expression on her face never ceases to make me giggle a bit. Of course, Chica in general is also has creepiness to go along with her goofiness, Withered Chica is still one of, if not, the scariest animatronic in the whole series imo. The fact that Funtime Chica not only exists, but was chosen over Funtime Freddy in UCN has annoyed me to this day, however.

Based on Matpat's new FNAF timeline, William Afton hated Chica cause she was created by Henry, who he hates but admires since the 1970s. 'Chica's Party World' was Henry's business before he collab with Afton and 'Fredbear's Family Diner'. When Afton created the funtime animatronics, he used his original ideas for the main roaster of SL. No Chica cause she's related to Henry's.
I was rewatching this video and remembered something- 8:30 "Who likes Biddybab???" So when Sister Location came out there were toys called "Hatchimals" that were really popular and as a kid I really wanted one but they were (and are) pretty expensive. But I got one as a gift around when Sister Location came out and I named that little bastard "Biddybab" 😭
I agree when the first trailer for sb released i wasn't too fond with her since I'm more of a tom boy gal not all pinky and stuff but when I played sb I found myself LOVING her design its pink but still has this emo or grudge feel to it and her personality being the odd one of the group. She 100% scared me the most when playing sb and I just adore her, I actually relate alot to chica being the weird one amongst her freinds (thats me in my freind group always pushed aside for being short or liking different things) so glamrock chica is deff one of my fav characters in all of fnaf maybe even my fav in sb :D JESUS I WROTE ALOT....
i always assumed chica was a fan favorite because she was the only girl for a while & she's got such a unique design (heck, she's the only non-mammal of the original four). i was surprised when ultimate custom night came out and everyone was like "why was CHICA the first one killed?? that makes no sense!" because i had thought it really fit. she just feels like she ought to be important to the story.

I LOVED CHICA AS A KID! My thought was to like the scariest. She is absolute fear factor. Especially people’s redesigns of her in most recent fan games. My thought abt her is she’s brutal and I do genuinely think the idea of her ripping someone in two and gobbling em up is only something she’d do. Which is why I think she is so terrifying. I feel her actions are way more lively.

She really got the short end of the stick from the fandom. She got the worst merch, literally turned into meme material rather than nightmare material and just turned into a rule 34 dummy because she’s a girl. It’s nice how the fandom now makes her design the most scariest because she really deserves some spotlight. Creators like Battington really made me have fear of her.

Another thing that makes her 100% important, not sure if you mentioned this, is that the soul possessing her was the first to go. A line of hers is literally “I was the first. I have seen everything.” That’s a pretty important detail to me!
Suzie was the first, William ran over her dog and dog was "missing" but she always still go to the pizzeria to protect her highest score in Fruity Maze, but she started to cry that's when William in the spring Bonnie Suit told her that her dog was in the back room that how she lure her in to the backroom and killed her, the kids went missing through out a summer they were not kill all at the same time, I wonder where William hide the corpse of her dog it would fun if it somehow was in her cupcake or something...

I believe Ucn's Withered Chica voice was meant to resemble a Spirit box, a tool used by paranormal investigators that cycles through radio frequencies. Gives it a very haunting yet robotic feel

After Henry withdrew from ( fazbear entertainment), and William founded (Afton Robotics) , the company that made all the animatronics in circus baby (Sister Location) , she was not exist in it . just cuz William didn't like her , Note: This is why William put his first victim in Chica, this is because of his deep hatred for her

I love the usage of Withered Chica, how she positions herself up against the wall like a scarecrow in FnaF 2, and how she gets stuck in the vent and stares at me with her dead eyes in UCN. Can't wait for what character you do next!
Chica wasn't in sister location for what seems to be, according to MatPat, lore reasons. Freddy and Bonnie were Afton's creations, hence why they're part of one animatronic, and he and Henry probably created Foxy together. Chica though, she was Henry's original creation. She was originally from the Mediocre Melodies. The Freddy's locations and Fazbear Inc. were co-owned by Afton and Henry, but Circus Baby's Pizza World was owned solely by Afton Robotics, and he didn't have the rights to Chica.
That was solely speculation. There's nothing backing that beyond the usual ramblings MatPat's gone on about, and while some theories of his _were_ incorporated directly into the lore, he's still trying to tie together a solid dozen puzzles that weren't meant to fit together.

@@madisnzz Arguably he's done plenty worth dislike, what with having indirectly been a part of the problem with all the holes in the storyline and directly been one of the main sources of the confusion throughout it. Regardless this specific part isn't something I would consider to be 'loose ends' as much as just a design choice, and there were plenty of those throughout both before and after SL - though SL has a lot of design choices that were perhaps less than ideal to begin with, this wasn't really one of them. The other characters work fine in place of the preexisting ones and the series _did_ need some more diversity between them anyways, I think, though I know that part is subjective entirely as is much of anyone's side of the discussion.
The 12th story of Fazbear's Fright "Coming Home" has the best use of Chica in it and it explores one of the most often over looked aspects of fnaf; that being families of the missing childeren, the victim itself and how a soul acts in universe. It needs more recognition, especially since it is Susie, literally the first victim and has a very interesting ghost story tone.
I agree with this! I loved coming home and its use of Chica! Not going to lie, Chica has never been my favorite and I've always over-looked her. Even after Security Breach. But I think it's just because of how little use she gets. I believe Steel Wool will do amazing things for her in the future! Then I think I'll be more inclined to care. I really want to see more of her in the future, though!

The thing that always disturbed me about chica I know how this will sound but I think you’ll see what I mean. Before unwrapping the lord was the biggest thing in the fandom chica just always seemed like she knew more than she was letting on. By how she would taunt you in the cameras and always look pissed. Then stand at the door for a very long time.
Fun fact: Glamrock Chica was originally supposed to be a valley girl stereotype, which I wish they didn't cut because it would have given Glamrock Chica more personality.
Also for glamrock chica you can here her crying when she walks around kinda implying that she really doesn't want to attack anyone which also might explain why she is the only one who kinda walks like a zombie, maybe she fought the virus so much that she was punished for it somehow
Most of my death's in FNAF 1 were from Chica, so she holds a place in my heart of being the one I scorn the most. None of the others compare as much to how much I spite Chica. It's an almost twisted love we have

Not sure if you know this but there are scrapped voice lines for glamrock Chica and they are very good. They made her entire personality be a “valley girl” (whitest girl personality u can imagine) and I think that if Steelwool used them, GL Chica would have more personality and stand out more compared to the other GL.
Well, thing is, she ALREADY stands out in SB at least. Her entire attitude kind of screams "forced", while the other two are more "coerced" :V Hell, she's pretty much the #1 candidate for "Other Glamrock companion"...

In the 4th fazbear frights book step closer the 3rd story is coming home which follows Susie (the spirit that posesses chica) and her family after the missing children’s incident. Susie in the story has a LOT of personality and I think that ties in with the point of Chica in fnaf 1 having more personality. I totally recommend reading that book if your going to read any (tear warning for the last story😢)
Not only is Chica my favorite out of the original 4, but one of my favorite animatronics of the entire series. Imo she's one of the scariest animatronics, but I also find her cute at the same time.
When I started my marathon with markipliers videos , I really thought Bonnie was gonna be the scary one. But nooooo I always closed my eyes whenever she appeared on screen. Very very creepy expressions and design. I love her

You know ruin and shattered chica are my favorite mostly because of how they act like a zombie ruin even has who have a trash bag as a stomach and pizza on her mouth the way she sounds of all the nuts and bolts squeezing together and making this weird earpiece sound when she kills you, but especially when I was talking about earlier ruin with the pizza stuff on her face to make it look like she is kind of organic like a zombie for me. It looks like she’s like a zombie with her skin rotting off what it just shows how close she is completely eating a bunch of pizza until it’s mold. In its way. On her and especially the way, she walks just like a zombie if there was a version of. Ruin chica that was supposed to be organic. I think that would be the most scariest.
When I first saw the game Chica always stuck out to me because she reminded me of the little birdie character from McDonald’s or Helen Henny from Chuck E Cheese’s. For some reason it creeped me out more because it was something familiar.

She is absolutely one the most underrated Fnaf characters! One aspect that you forgot to mention is that in Fnaf SB sometimes you can hear Glamrock Chica crying, I think this little detail makes her scarier. Other than that, you made another great character analysis. Great Job!
ever since the beginning, Chica and Bonnie, along with Freddy, have ALWAYS been my all-time favorite’s, in Lore/game-mechanics and well … just design, they look Great … also for me, chica has ALWAYS been the creepiest for me, there is just something so weird and creepy about a chicken with teeth, and her postures in the halls, and her withered form … just epic!
I’ve always found Chica to be the creepiest. Her fnaf 1 design looks so uncanny, in so many camera her mouth is wide open and her eyes look directly into your soul, and her weird neck movement as well as sometimes looking dead at you, no mouth open, but serious as hells, like we did something to them and they’re angry (FoREsHaDOwInG!?!?!?). As you said, she looks too alive in not only fnaf 1, but all of them. Even toy chica is unsettling without her beak. But Withered Chica is by far the creepiest animatronic in the entire series. Her lack of eyelids as she stares dead into you with that extremely wide open mouth to the point of looking as if she’s in pain is very creepy and unsettling, it’s the lack of eyelids that really help the creepy factor, it makes her look like she’s suffering in some type of hell, I just hate those eyes, it’s not even her mouth or witheredness IT’S THE EYES, like add eyelids to withered chica, it doesn’t hit the same does it? I still think withered chica is best doesn’t Scott has made in term of uncanny and creepiness
Fun fact: Withered Chica isn't actually the original Chica from FNAF 1 she is from fredbears family diner because the diner had the restored version of the ones from FNAF 1 and the withered animatronics are also the nightmare ones from C.C's nightmares

Fnaf 1 chica is literally one of the scariest animatronics to me (besides withered Freddy). She has such a uncanny feel to her and a bird having teeth is also creepy

Personally I really like Chica & Her cupcake, she has really good designs most of the time and she’s kinda the odd ball (being the only girl in like 90% of the games, plus we both rlly like food) Like I love her Withered design, Nightmare, Jack-o, Like the idea of Funtime, Glamrock, Toy without beak, & the new Balloon & Circus design. Scott Cawthon made a detail in FNAF 1 by making Chica stay longer at the night guard window far longer than Bonnie has. she seems to be very unwanted based off this quote; "Uh, by now I'm sure you've noticed the older models sitting in the back room. Uh, those are from the previous location. We just use them for parts now. The idea at first was to repair them...uh, they even started retrofitting them with some of the newer technology, but they were just so ugly, you know? Uh, those older ones shouldn't be able to walk around, but if they do, the whole Freddy head trick should work on them too, so, whatever." - Phone Guy, Night 2 Susie, the spirit possessing Chica is very eerie. “I have seen everything.” scared me in a good way. Before Susie was Chica, she was a young girl who attended her friend's birthday party at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. At the party, the five children were visited by Spring Bonnie, one of the two retired animatronic suits from an older location, Fredbear's Family Diner (actually William Afton wearing the Spring Bonnie suit). He lured them into a back room where he brutally murdered them and hid their bloodied corpses inside the 4 animatronic mascots, and one in the other retired suit. The children's spirits remained trapped in the animatronics. the thing about her story is that she was just a traumatized little kid fighting for her life, but these spirits are very vengeful ones so i’d assume they’re no longer friendly whatsoever. here’s another story of hers; In the third story of Fazbear Frights: Step Closer, Coming Home, Chica appeared every night in Susie's house, and would grab her hand and left with her. On the night when Samantha tried to find Gretchen the doll that Susie hid before she died, Chica tried to stop her from finding it. After the doll was found, Chica once again left the house holding Susie's hand after her farewell. chica is really something and a beautiful and special character.

I did like Chica the most out of the original four. Freddy seems sentient and knows what he's doing, but can be rude or means at times. Bonnie seems a little sentient too, but not really. Almost as bad as Chica. Foxy can be merciful in UCN, I like that. But Chica is always shown as this gluttonous, evil, mindless monster always looking for another thing to kill for a snack. Even in the anime cutscene. The only Chica that kinda strays from that idea is Funtime Chica, who just snaps a few pictures of herself and leaves.

Absolutely adore chica, the diffrent iterations of her all seem to have clear similarities without having to be identical. I kinda thought I'd not care much for glam rock chica based on all the other new characters, but as a weirdo with food control issues I relate to her a lot! As a kid I'd be called a bin by the family because I'd eat whatever everyone else didn't want after a family meal. In my defense they did encourage it to prevent food waste so I was just helping the environment imo.... Or atleast that's my excuse now. 😝

I think the fact Chica seems more alive than the others in Fnaf 1 is a fun little detail when you take in the fact she was the first of the children to be murdered. She is more used to running her animatronic because she's been in it longest, so she comes off as more aware and alive due to that.

For anyone wondering theres a lore reason why chica isn't in sister location, as the animatronics are clearly designed by william afton (the interview) it makes sense why chica isn't there, because chica had a seperate restaurant, called "Chica's Party World" who was created by henry emily (william aftons enemy). So Afton purposely didn't incluce her because she wasn't HIS animatronic, but henrys, so she wasn't included in sister location, which also explains why "Chica was the first" as william put the child in chicas body first because it wasn't his animatronic, so he didn't care what happened to it, and also explains why Funtime Chica is in FNAF 6 and why she has a different design, as FNAF 6 was run by Casette Man (henry emily), not Afton, so he made sure to add Chica in and also gave her another design as Funtime Freddy & Foxy where made by different people than Funtime Chica. So thats why. To sum it up. Chica isn't williams animatronic, so she wasn't in sister location, which explains other lore.

personally i think toy chica was designed so feminine because in the first game a lot of people people thought she was male or a duck so this was scott’s way of confirming what she was supposed to be in a way. i dont know for sure but that’s just what makes the most sense to me.

Bonnie, Chica and Foxie are ironically the three primary colors, creating a sense of balance. The brown of Freddy comes from mixing all three together, creating a sense of completion and unity as well as implying a more neutral and apathetic perspective. Going based on color theory alone, the group would be incomplete without her.
Plus I found her to be the creepiest. She seemed to be the most unpredictable and unhinged of the four.

Something I've noticed about all the glamrocks is that they all kinda represent a crutch, or archetype of Rock Life. Freddy is doing it to have fun with his friends. Roxy masks her self confidence issues. Monty is the jerk of the band. To me, Chica was someone who worked hard, but had a secret side to her. Like her "vice" is eating pizza/garbage. So while she may appear happy and friendly on the outside to the public, she has this secret vice side that she wants no one to see. Something that could either represent the "silent sufferer" of the rock world. be it drugs or an eating disorder...... Am I looking too far into this? Maybe... But Monty having jealousy issues and Roxanne crying when she becomes shattered cause she thinks her looks are all that matter and why people love her... Idk. It's just something to chew on for Glamrock Chica

I really like this interpretation of Glamrock Chica. The silent sufferer. It wouldn’t be something that is directly noticeable like Roxy’s self esteem issues, but it really goes to show how the virus is capable of bringing out the worst out of everyone.
And I’m going to take full advantage of that for my depiction of the Glamrock animatronics in my FNaF AU.
Also, GR Chica is the mascot for the fitness part of the Pizzaplex while simultaniously stuffing her face with literal garbage.

While chica is remixed, she is fairly similar to toy chica, as opposed to Funtime Freddy or Funtime foxy. Chica has always been one of those "comfort" characters in the first game. She was not only the only girl in the first game, but I seen her as a hispanic/latina character cuz of her name. I noticed Glamrock Chica has a strange and unique moveset, take a look at Monty and Roxy, they have very stable and normal movement but Glamrock Chica is always slouching and very loose when walking, almost as if shes a puppet being moved around awkwardly. Shes also constantly crying even before her decommissioning and is always hungry. She tries to stuff her mouth with food and realising she cant soothe her hunger she starts acting weird. I strongly believe that Chica is a childs soul trapped within her because of her emotional behaviors.

Freddy is most likely the one with them out of the glamrocks, since all of the Glamrocks have the negative aspects of their personalities amplified EXCEPT Freddy, showing his theorized connection to M.A.

i’ve always had a super strong emotional attachment to chica, and i’m not entirely sure why. something about her is just always so comforting in a strange way, perhaps it was growing up with a LONGGG fnaf phase and her being the only female of the 4 mains, but she’s still my favourite animatronic model to this day and i really think she deserves more attention than she gets at the moment ^^

On the topic of Chica in SB, the intro sticks out to me a lot. Note she's shown to be visibly distressed when Freddy starts glitching out and even runs to him when he collapses.
It makes seeing her the way the virus is using her in the main game all the more upsetting I think, because otherwise she'd absolutely side with Freddy and help out.

Chica has ALWAYS been my favorite character since fnaf1 and this is what Ive been saying since. Im so glad she's getting the reconizition she deserves in recent years, ESPECIALLY her withered design. She's always been such an interestng character, and the idea that she was killed first and was helpless to stop everything from happening (as another commenter has pointed out) is so heartbreaking

for real. the uncanny valley sense of unease she just unearths…EVERY time i see her to this day is insane. one of the best character designs in the fnaf series as far as how scary it is without being cheesy. wish we got more stuff like that in the more scare-focused era of fnaf.
Genuinely, when I was still a middle school kid, I absolutely *dreaded* her jumpscare in FNAF 2. I would go through Markiplier’s comment section looking for the one with the jumpscare times just so I could be prepared; I remember legitimately counting the seconds 😭

In the first game I actually feel the opposite way about their appearance. I guess that's because all of instances where bonnie looks straight at you, and always keeps a normal posture, mainly the parts and service cam, the left corner cam and when he's at the door. Chica instead looks way more mechanical to me, the way she leans her head and stares at nothing, whith her jaw always hanging. In particular I refer to both the right hall cams and the jumpscare.
I always found the original Chica to be the funny one of the group. The way she stares at the player in the doorway or in the Dining Hall with a "😃" expression on her face never ceases to make me giggle a bit. Of course, Chica in general is also has creepiness to go along with her goofiness, Withered Chica is still one of, if not, the scariest animatronic in the whole series imo.
The fact that Funtime Chica not only exists, but was chosen over Funtime Freddy in UCN has annoyed me to this day, however.

Based on Matpat's new FNAF timeline, William Afton hated Chica cause she was created by Henry, who he hates but admires since the 1970s. 'Chica's Party World' was Henry's business before he collab with Afton and 'Fredbear's Family Diner'. When Afton created the funtime animatronics, he used his original ideas for the main roaster of SL. No Chica cause she's related to Henry's.

i always assumed chica was a fan favorite because she was the only girl for a while & she's got such a unique design (heck, she's the only non-mammal of the original four). i was surprised when ultimate custom night came out and everyone was like "why was CHICA the first one killed?? that makes no sense!" because i had thought it really fit. she just feels like she ought to be important to the story.

Suzie was the first, William ran over her dog and dog was "missing" but she always still go to the pizzeria to protect her highest score in Fruity Maze, but she started to cry that's when William in the spring Bonnie Suit told her that her dog was in the back room that how she lure her in to the backroom and killed her, the kids went missing through out a summer they were not kill all at the same time, I wonder where William hide the corpse of her dog it would fun if it somehow was in her cupcake or something...

I believe Ucn's Withered Chica voice was meant to resemble a Spirit box, a tool used by paranormal investigators that cycles through radio frequencies. Gives it a very haunting yet robotic feel
This is because of the lore William Afton hated Chica, and Henry was the one who thought that her presence was good . After Henry withdrew from ( fazbear entertainment), and William founded (Afton Robotics) , the company that made all the animatronics in circus baby (Sister Location) , she was not exist in it . just cuz William didn't like her , Note: This is why William put his first victim in Chica, this is because of his deep hatred for her

I love the usage of Withered Chica, how she positions herself up against the wall like a scarecrow in FnaF 2, and how she gets stuck in the vent and stares at me with her dead eyes in UCN. Can't wait for what character you do next!
Chica wasn't in sister location for what seems to be, according to MatPat, lore reasons. Freddy and Bonnie were Afton's creations, hence why they're part of one animatronic, and he and Henry probably created Foxy together. Chica though, she was Henry's original creation. She was originally from the Mediocre Melodies. The Freddy's locations and Fazbear Inc. were co-owned by Afton and Henry, but Circus Baby's Pizza World was owned solely by Afton Robotics, and he didn't have the rights to Chica.
That was solely speculation. There's nothing backing that beyond the usual ramblings MatPat's gone on about, and while some theories of his _were_ incorporated directly into the lore, he's still trying to tie together a solid dozen puzzles that weren't meant to fit together.

@@madisnzz Arguably he's done plenty worth dislike, what with having indirectly been a part of the problem with all the holes in the storyline and directly been one of the main sources of the confusion throughout it. Regardless this specific part isn't something I would consider to be 'loose ends' as much as just a design choice, and there were plenty of those throughout both before and after SL - though SL has a lot of design choices that were perhaps less than ideal to begin with, this wasn't really one of them. The other characters work fine in place of the preexisting ones and the series _did_ need some more diversity between them anyways, I think, though I know that part is subjective entirely as is much of anyone's side of the discussion.

The 12th story of Fazbear's Fright "Coming Home" has the best use of Chica in it and it explores one of the most often over looked aspects of fnaf; that being families of the missing childeren, the victim itself and how a soul acts in universe. It needs more recognition, especially since it is Susie, literally the first victim and has a very interesting ghost story tone.

I agree with this! I loved coming home and its use of Chica! Not going to lie, Chica has never been my favorite and I've always over-looked her. Even after Security Breach.
But I think it's just because of how little use she gets. I believe Steel Wool will do amazing things for her in the future! Then I think I'll be more inclined to care. I really want to see more of her in the future, though!

The thing that always disturbed me about chica I know how this will sound but I think you’ll see what I mean. Before unwrapping the lord was the biggest thing in the fandom chica just always seemed like she knew more than she was letting on. By how she would taunt you in the cameras and always look pissed. Then stand at the door for a very long time.
Fun fact: Glamrock Chica was originally supposed to be a valley girl stereotype, which I wish they didn't cut because it would have given Glamrock Chica more personality.

Not sure if you know this but there are scrapped voice lines for glamrock Chica and they are very good. They made her entire personality be a “valley girl” (whitest girl personality u can imagine) and I think that if Steelwool used them, GL Chica would have more personality and stand out more compared to the other GL.

In the 4th fazbear frights book step closer the 3rd story is coming home which follows Susie (the spirit that posesses chica) and her family after the missing children’s incident. Susie in the story has a LOT of personality and I think that ties in with the point of Chica in fnaf 1 having more personality. I totally recommend reading that book if your going to read any (tear warning for the last story😢)

You know ruin and shattered chica are my favorite mostly because of how they act like a zombie ruin even has who have a trash bag as a stomach and pizza on her mouth the way she sounds of all the nuts and bolts squeezing together and making this weird earpiece sound when she kills you, but especially when I was talking about earlier ruin with the pizza stuff on her face to make it look like she is kind of organic like a zombie for me. It looks like she’s like a zombie with her skin rotting off what it just shows how close she is completely eating a bunch of pizza until it’s mold. In its way. On her and especially the way, she walks just like a zombie if there was a version of. Ruin chica that was supposed to be organic. I think that would be the most scariest.

I’ve always found Chica to be the creepiest. Her fnaf 1 design looks so uncanny, in so many camera her mouth is wide open and her eyes look directly into your soul, and her weird neck movement as well as sometimes looking dead at you, no mouth open, but serious as hells, like we did something to them and they’re angry (FoREsHaDOwInG!?!?!?). As you said, she looks too alive in not only fnaf 1, but all of them. Even toy chica is unsettling without her beak. But Withered Chica is by far the creepiest animatronic in the entire series. Her lack of eyelids as she stares dead into you with that extremely wide open mouth to the point of looking as if she’s in pain is very creepy and unsettling, it’s the lack of eyelids that really help the creepy factor, it makes her look like she’s suffering in some type of hell, I just hate those eyes, it’s not even her mouth or witheredness IT’S THE EYES, like add eyelids to withered chica, it doesn’t hit the same does it? I still think withered chica is best doesn’t Scott has made in term of uncanny and creepiness

i honestly think Chica should be recognized more because of her story and background. Scott Cawthon made a detail in FNAF 1 by making Chica stay longer at the night guard window far longer than Bonnie has. she seems to be very unwanted based off this quote;

Before Susie was Chica, she was a young girl who attended her friend's birthday party at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. At the party, the five children were visited by Spring Bonnie, one of the two retired animatronic suits from an older location, Fredbear's Family Diner (actually William Afton wearing the Spring Bonnie suit).
He lured them into a back room where he brutally murdered them and hid their bloodied corpses inside the 4 animatronic mascots, and one in the other retired suit. The children's spirits remained trapped in the animatronics.
the thing about her story is that she was just a traumatized little kid fighting for her life, but these spirits are very vengeful ones so i’d assume they’re no longer friendly whatsoever.
here’s another story of hers;
In the third story of Fazbear Frights: Step Closer, Coming Home, Chica appeared every night in Susie's house, and would grab her hand and left with her. On the night when Samantha tried to find Gretchen the doll that Susie hid before she died, Chica tried to stop her from finding it. After the doll was found, Chica once again left the house holding Susie's hand after her farewell.

Freddy seems sentient and knows what he's doing, but can be rude or means at times.
Bonnie seems a little sentient too, but not really. Almost as bad as Chica.
Foxy can be merciful in UCN, I like that.
But Chica is always shown as this gluttonous, evil, mindless monster always looking for another thing to kill for a snack. Even in the anime cutscene. The only Chica that kinda strays from that idea is Funtime Chica, who just snaps a few pictures of herself and leaves.

Absolutely adore chica, the diffrent iterations of her all seem to have clear similarities without having to be identical. I kinda thought I'd not care much for glam rock chica based on all the other new characters, but as a weirdo with food control issues I relate to her a lot! As a kid I'd be called a bin by the family because I'd eat whatever everyone else didn't want after a family meal.
In my defense they did encourage it to prevent food waste so I was just helping the environment imo.... Or atleast that's my excuse now. 😝
